And whilst we are on the Rowe topic , too many 40/20s in the last game.
Surely after the first one he would have positioned himself better.

Now we have Simona , Fulton , Austin , Rowe ,Luani , Akauola taking those spots .
Leichardt has got to be packed to the rafters to get the Boys home .
Can I just mention\Akauola absolutely excites me he is just so RAW!!!!!!! anyone know his Contract Status with us ?
You are not the only one excited. I'm was pumped Big Kev style watching him play on Monday.
He made the hit ups look effortless - Looks really confident
Don't know how we are going to fit all these young kids in our 17 but Akauola is a must or could turn out to be like Fafita realising his potential elsewhere , please don't let that happen .
It depends who you talk to on this Forum, if you are Optimistic? it's because your delusional and need a reality check. If you are Pessimistic? Your accused of being a negative Nancy and to go and follow another Club.

I think we all need to remember potter was a very accomplished fullback in his day. Potter is no doubt spending some quality 1-on-1 time with him. He's no teddy nor probably will be but he's doing ok as a fill in with only a few fg games under his draw string.

I would rather have seen Austin in for luani, the game seemed to change for the better once he came on against the eels. It looked to me like potter pulled luani last week and I didn't expect to him back this week?.....

I would have Moses at fullback in front of Rowe every day of the week. Unfortunately Rowe's defence was non existent & Moses would offer a lot more in attack.

Rowe was conceding a lot of 40/20s in NSW Cup too. Positioning and anticipation don't seem to be his strongest suits. He's simply not ready for NRL yet, but we have no other fullbacks in our squad. It doesn't mean he'll never get there, but he needs a solid season of NSW Cup to develop his game for the adult level. This opportunity came a little too early for him.

Nofoaluma or Simona would play really well at fullback.

Based on both sides last hit out we have the backs and the Titans have the forwards - so we really need our forwards to get on a roll.

Austin works better off the bench at the moment as the impact player

Such a shame that there's no Gavet

Gavet will be missed, but Liam will do a good, if different job. I suspect he will have a key role in tracking Bird and trying to shut down his ability to offload and open up second phase attack. Given the line breaks we tend to too easily concede through 5/8 and the centres it'll be an important job.
