OK.....havent played these for years but Im in one of Vinnies this year...
SuperCoach:
One question.....What is the one most single important attribute a player should have when selecting a team?
80 min players?
Scoring ability?
Tackles made?
Looks?
Personality?

tackles and hitups. best player examples - gallen, parker, c smith, fensom. though i believe theyve altered the scoring system to get backs more points
Year of last finals appearance:
2017 - Storm, Roosters, Broncos, Eels, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Panthers, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2015 - Rabbitohs, Dragons
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers, Warriors

Yeah, I think the system has been altered some to favour players who score, set up tries, make breaks, and get repeat sets. The workhorses are disadvantaged, unless their hit-ups are over 8m a go.steve-o wrote:tackles and hitups. best player examples - gallen, parker, c smith, fensom. though i believe theyve altered the scoring system to get backs more points

It's my first season using Supercoach and struggling is an understatement! Lol

Hey Jazza - mate, it's all good and all normal.Jazza wrote:It's my first season using Supercoach and struggling is an understatement! Lol
Takes a bit of time/luck/strategy to pick up which players you need to keep, which ones are not getting solid consistent points per game and so on.
When you get to a squad you're sort of happy with, a little trick is you only then transfer players out if they get injured etc.
You can refer to others' teams to see who they have that you haven't - that are scoring points better than your selections etc - so you can get a good idea of who might help your squad - then transfer in/out to suit.
But all transfers and even selecting your 4 reserves per round to get the most points you can takes a bit of luck as well as judgement.
And there's no sheep stations here, just a bit of fun, so enjoy the little steps in getting better, week by week.
Good luck - the head to head games start this week - be kind to your opponents, or not!

Ink, you know that true talent always rises to the top.

Whoever has the team name UTAI AND STOP HIM -
You need to make that into a banner and get it up on TV - thats a tremendous pun.

Cheers UD, I'm currently coming 952 in SC but I'll probs drop at least 1,000 spots this week after Smith's low score as my (C) but I'm really enjoying this fantasy football & it adds some more interest to games when your players are playing.
