No bombs allowed in mod footy , the ball has to go further than it does higher .happy tiger wrote:Certainly nothing you had to offerhobbo2803 wrote:How many balls did you swallowhappy tiger wrote:Certainly do that already Hobbo , was working with the wingers under high balls on Thursdayhobbo2803 wrote:

But then again this is the coach ,he has the best forward playing in the centres and then had the other playing fullback and our best half in my opinion playing in the centres
I plan on calling him Tim on Thursday when I see him

So Happy KOD's his own son for rep footy...
Exhibit A,,,
Exhibit A,,,
just need to find a way to find his "eye of the tiger " and he will walk into the side

One of my Coaches once said " Tank you will only get out of the game what your willing to put in "
Tell him to keep at it and keep having fun
It depends who you talk to on this Forum, if you are Optimistic? it's because your delusional and need a reality check. If you are Pessimistic? Your accused of being a negative Nancy and to go and follow another Club.

Just one of my achievements was Club Highest Points scorer when i was playing under 15's in the 1st Division Parra Comp.
Not bad for a non Hall of Famer

how the hell does someone who's a dead ringer for Chris Close (happy tiger) and has zero cardio have so many "hall of fame " accolades to ones nameforeveratiger wrote:.

Season 2016 kicked off for the under 14s and we've started well with a 32 - 12 win over last years premiers. There's been a lot of improvement across the board. A little hard to gauge during school holidays with both teams missing a couple of players, but signs are great for a big season for the Giants given last year Rockingham Sharks were undefeated. Impressively, the tries came from back line plays, kicks for outside men and planned moves. We also had 3 kicks for goal sail over from right on the sideline on a windy day. Can't ask for more than that. GO YOU GIANTS!
Hope you others parents out there had a similar start to the season.

Giants 28 - Sharks 18 that's 2 in a row against the premiers. We're on fire.

Our boys are doing it tough , after starting the season with 19 players and a star recruit from an opposing team things have gone pear shaped
With a combination of issues with parents/coach , kids leaving town with parents because of the work situation etc we are down to 14 players (with another leaving shortly , jobs are going left right and centre up here )
Two were away last week so we had the bare 12 and were in the game at HT at 4-0 down Our hooker got badly badly winded and we had to finish the game with 11 and got beaten 14-0
Boys are 1/5 for the season

Our boys got off to a great start .
Played round 1 last weekend
Lower Mountains defeated Glenmore Park
16-10
It was a cliffhanger of a game . We had 2 Trys disallowed from kicks as aparentley the ball went higher than it went further
Hobbo Jnr scored the match winner with a Kamakazi crash ball over the line with 2 mins to go .
This weekend will be a grand final replay when the boys take on the Giant Polynesian pack from St Mary's .

Sheezus Happy - that doesn't sound too good. Sounds as though even with all things going against them the boys are still putting in. Hopefully the kids can get things back on track.happy tiger wrote:Our boys are doing it tough , after starting the season with 19 players and a star recruit from an opposing team things have gone pear shaped

Nothing better than when your kid has a special play to seal a win. Nice work young Hobbo! Bring on St Marys!hobbo2803 wrote:Our boys got off to a great start .

Round 2 was last week .... The Grand Final replay against St -Mary's .
The boys were victorious winning 24-16
Round 3 was this morning , the boys played Windsor Wolves who had dropped down from division 1 into our comp .
They did well to hang in there but we're out classed 28-8 .
Hobbo Jnr was forced from the field with 2 mins to go after performing a charge down which went wrong .... ( impact was loud ) .
Although regaining Possesion he know has a busted top and bottom lip !
