Loving watching this team

Unread post by larrycorowa » Sat 24 May, 2014 7:09 pm

In comparison to previous years when I watched the games in hope (especially against big physical teams), this year I am quietly confident that we will give a good account whatever the team and whoever the opposition.

I am loving that they are well coached, that they will give it everything, that they wont beat themselves, that they wont get blown off the park, that they have enormous upside.

Most of all I love the mongrel of our forwards.

Mostly your saying it's so much easier watching us without Benji, I've felt it all year im so much more relaxed every time someone kicks for touch, when we defend our line, when our backline gets used etc. I bet the touch judges at tigers games are too. Its just the dragons games they have to worry about.

We are having a good dig this year, and even losses aren't as hard to take. Playing harder, straighter, more mongrel in D, and we now have depth in the squad.
Haven't enjoyed the footy as much for years.

yes it's been much easier this year, the losses have been easier to deal with as well with the change in the side
