Gavin Badger hang your head in shame

Unread post by haberfield tiger » Sat 24 May, 2014 9:38 pm

That was woeful to say the least. I counted 6 forward pass from the broncs in the first half, one resulting in a try. we clearly lost the penalty count. I cant believe how he let the Broncos lay in ruck and that last penalty that cost the game after the player had clearly lost the ball.. what can you say.. he deserves to be dropped..

I rarely agree with ref condemning posts after a loss....but yep haberfield youre spot on
Badger killed us tonite

The penalty that broke the deadlock was very very soft

He waited for the touchy to signal forawrd pass in the first Broncos try, you could see he thought it was forward but passed the buck

Terrible from him tonite

Love our attitude though, the execution will come

Wasn't the reason for the loss (we were very poor with ball in hand most of the night), but agree that he was (IS) terrible. What happened to being able to tackle on suspicion? And even the last play, all of the Broncos to the right of the posts went early, they were at the ball-player before they even got the ball, how can that happen?

The amount of time the broncos spent offside was terrible.

GB: If you get involved in anything, youre going to lose
KG: How?
GB: Youre just going to lose.

This from a supposed NRL standard ref, when Keith had done nothing wrong???

nrl refereeing is the biggest scam of all time. they can change a game, get away with it, and penalise anyone within a playing roster/coach staff for challenging it publicly.

Puh-lease. Badger was bad but he didn't cost us. We cost us.
That last penalty that broke the deadlock looked like the right call to me. Maranta was tackled without the ball.

Blame soft defence for ALL of the leaked points.

Seriously, Anasta, Lawrence, Luani and even Rowe are simply not good enough. Blame recruitment and management. Blame heaps of things but IMO it's hardly Badger's fault.

I agreed with your first two sentences.....but then you lost me after that. Agree Anasta is not good enough. Just put Austin there and give it time to see what happens. Austin can make space for the outside men, Anasta cannot.

That was woeful refing.

Reminded me of untelivised 80s rorts with steady unexplained penalties against my side.

Just one to make sure the broncos get there.

That 2 pts lost will be very costly.

I agree the referring was ordinary but team selections as is the case everytime are to blame :for the loss against the Broncos. :wtf
For heaven's sake I can see the players that should be dropped "permanently" never to see 1st grade again ,why cannot Potter??????????? :crazy
Anasta, Lawrence, Lulia should never ,ever be selected again!!!! :deadhorse:
I just do not understand why Potter is doing what he's doing ?????The mind boggles at his thoughts in this regard!!!!! :bash
Fix it Potter for our next match then permanently!!!!!! :brick:

Yes, and on top of it the forward passes the Broncos got away with - which the whole com box saw - had Joel Caine biting his tongue a few times.
