What excuse did Klown give to Robbie???

Post by innsaneink » Sun 08 Jun, 2014 2:57 pm

For not overturning that decision where they missed Boyds knock on and we were forced to drop out that lead to their try.

Did he say, "Its not what we do" When robbie asked why the Vid Ref didnt over rule.

Yet another referee that doesnt know what hes on about.

Dudded again.

Restarts
In the event of a video referee having access to a television replay prior to a goal line drop out
or 20
metre optional kick being taken and there is sufficient evidence to overturn the original
on field decision, the video referee will instruct the head referee to recommence the game
with the correct restart

No excuse at all ... I've stated in previous posts that rugby league has to be the worst officiated sport on the planet .. Period !

I know the above link is the 2013 NRL refs guidelines but Ive seen Refs boss Tony Archer interviewd and he did say what the link say the vid ref can overturn crucial line drop out decisions if theyre wrong

Then we had Gidley knees into Rowdys back early in 2nd half which wasnt penalised and resutled in another Uate try

Snowden on report TWICE!?!?!?! When do you go for an early shower??
Three, four??

He said "that's not the process" or something similar which is incorrect. It should have been a twenty metre restart.

On the Snowden one yes he was on report twice but the second one had nothing really in it, was coming over the top as Bodene was falling, you can't send someone off for that.

I didnt notice the knees, i will have to have a look at that.

On Snowden, his 2nd one looked deliberate, closed fist and all. Im still gobsmacked that we cant sin bin for foul play. Siro gets ko'd and ruled out of the game while Snowden stays on. Surely a reportable incident of foul play deserves sin binning.

There were some shocking calls made by the refs today. We did damn well to win with the adversity we had to overcome IMO.

50:50 KS, when Rowdy copped the knees

I agree with you on Snowdens 2nd it was clenched fist from behind and deliberate...yeh send off maybe a bit OTT but geez 2nd ''on report'' youre pushing your luck

What's the point of video ref if not to overturn obvious on field mistakes.

I think I heard Klien say. "my panties had ridden so far up my crack I was distracted, but anyway I made my decision and don't need to be confused by facts"

It's pretty sad when players and fans know the rules of the game better than the match officials. I did laugh though when they over-turned the second goal line drop-out, why can you change one but not the other? There is zero consistency in the game. The standard of refereeing this season has been abysmal. I've actually found myself turning games off when it get's so bad becomes annoying to watch. Especially when it's clear as day and they still get it wrong.

I've also been more concerned about who the referee's are for that week than maybe coming up against a good side.

you can understand some calls in the heat of the moment , but having replays and a captain arguing his case and still not overturning the decision is pathetic.

TAB, Sportbet and all the others in the NRL, what's that tell you. Refs are much worse since these betting agencies came in.

They reversed the same basic play a little while later. I have no idea what they were thinking.

When was the last time anyone blew a penalty for not packing correctly - especially after the team feeding the scrum won it?

Bring back Darcy Lawler - at least you knew you were going to get robbed.

It is all this pretending to be honest that gets me.

Despite what the Fox people said, I think the penalty was for breaking early rather than not packing correctly. Or at the very least our lock wasn't bound properly. We got an offside from the kick off against us too. Meanwhile Uate plays the ball sideways and that's perfectly fine. Chris Lawrence gets knees into the back and no penalty.
