Should win big.....

Unread post by H-Tozza » Tue 24 Jun, 2014 10:52 am

It's been a while since I've said this, and I know you shouldn't underestimate opponents, but geez we are kidding ourselves if we don't win this game by over two converted tries at least...

We're full strength, at home and coming fresh off the bye against a team we've had a near impeccable record against the last 5 years, who've been truly awful in every aspect this season.....

If we were to lose this game, our season's over IMO.....Obviously not mathematically, but considering we've got at least one more game without Robbie (you just can't back us without him unfortunately) and a tough run home with the Dogs twice, Manly, rorters, cowboys away etc. I think it'd be a step to far for our young group.....

Interested to get your thoughts...

A lot of things should happen in footy. Doesn't mean they always do though.

I, for one, would like us to establish a comfortable lead and maintain it over the course of the match. I am tired of close games. Not good for the ticker.

I never like to predict games as "we will definitely win/lose" but I can't help but agree with you...WE MUST win this game. If we can't put Canberra to the sword then our best hope is to scrape into the finals but we will get knocked over very quickly.

Canberra have a fairly good pack, so we need to muscle up and match them. If we do we should easily win, as they plain suck at capitalizing on their go forward.

Four forwards on the bench. Even if we must stick with Anasta, please four forwards.

I think we will get this one , Teddy to have a blinder , just to rub it in a little , if our forwards get on top early we will be fine

Should be a comfortable 2 points. Be good for our For and Against if we can put a score on the board as the bottom part of the Top 8 may come down to for and against and ours is terrible at the moment.

I don't care if we win by 1 point, as long as we win and get one step closer towards making the 8.

100% correct. The comp is so close that it will come down to for and against. As usual ours is disgraceful. we need a big one against Canberra.

We need to pump the raiders for our for and against and for our confidence.

Hopefully Anasta and Lawrence are not named today.

Austin off the bench in potters preview so looks like or boy braith is starting. Yay.

I'm sure you have all been following the Tigers long enough to know you can never say we SHOULD win.

If that is the case it'll be the Faders by 10.

Close game at best.

Don't you just wish Anasta could pull a blinder out of his backside just once :)

I think only having 3 forwards on the bench won't help. I can see the win, but not winning big.
