Will anyone boo Marshall?

Unread post by weststigers » Sat 26 Jul, 2014 12:31 pm

Honestly, all these articles pleading with supporters not to boo Marshall are in my opinion a bit rich.

I don't boo people anyway, but seriously, who on here actually cares enough to even want to boo him?

Not sure where it's all coming from....

Maybe some of the current players might cry if we boo him

Look it was tempting to boo Benji when he played for us , let alone against us

I'll boo him.
Not because of what happened with him leaving us but because I always boo the opposition.

Why? Most of us wanted Benji to leave...

I can understand why Moltz was given a hard time, still not sure what we're booing Benji for?

Makes no sense and is immature.

Difference between Benji and other opposition is that Benji is life Member of Wests Tigers RLFC , he earned it , and deserves respect for it .

People who boo Benji could be summarized in short descriptive sentences .

He'll miss 10 tackles and let in 3 tries....pretty sure it'll hurt him more if you cheer his mistakes.

I won't be booing him. I was cheering that he decided to leave and haven't stopped since.

Care to explain how booing the opposition will make us look like "tools"?

On his day he was a brilliant player for us, the problem was we paid him like he was consistently amongst the games elite eg.. 8-9 very good games out of every 10, however we were luck if we got 2 very good games out of every 10 his last 2 years with us.

We have much better young halves coming though the system now (there is one guy in the 20's halves that is well above average as well) that I am glad we let Benji and his massive over payment contract go. So I wont be booing him, I will be cheering him when he puts up a bomb that goes backwards, throws a pass to the touchie and misses his 10th tackle in the game :)
