Good Work

Honestly that was a great effort from the boys missing key players, they played their heart out.

We were just outplayed by a vastly superior team. I thought Cronk and Smiths kicking games were brilliant.

We are just lacking too many first graders, plain and simple.

Oh yeah, and a board that isn't as useless as tits on a bull

Yeah, the effort was there and we started well, but too many injuries in key positions and a resulting lack of pace on the edges killed us, and will continue to cost us for the rest of the season unfortunately.

Some good performances. Couple of soft tries from them early put us on the back foot.

The moves from those two kick offs were good, both worked well apart from Austo sliding dead.

1. Moses - Didn't really get a chance to express himself
2. Lulia - Not close to a first grader, useless performance
3. Simona - Tried really hard, but with no momentum it was always going to be difficult
4. Halatau - Had no pace, got burned by Chambers, Slater. Better in second row
5. Akuola - Awesome effort for first try, he's tough, but no winger. Good kick returns
6. Sironen - Nothing really to talk about
7. Austin - Tried hard to spark, but we didn't have enough chances to create pressure
8. Woods - Once again, easily our best. Kept rolling on, got great offloads. Top player
9. Farah - Tried his guts out as usual, but what can one player do?
10. Galloway - Ran lots, but no real oomph in his runs anymore. Congrats on 150
12. Thompson - Once again, tried, but got dominated by Bromwich
13. Blair - Awesome game from him, ran hard and worked hard

14. Sue - Sorry, didn't see much from Jesse
15. Taupau - Silly penalties, drop balls, not his finest hour
16. Gavet - Ran with purpose, but his tackling technique needs work
17. Ava - Some solid runs

We tried hard, but without most of our first-grade team, execution was poor, and opportunities were limited. Storm were far too good, and there kicking game and control was pretty awesome. Extremely dissapointg, but I reckon we can win in Townsville!!

They really put in , but some of the options we took in the 2nd half almost killed me

As I said in the live call , I can remember 3 times when we had 5 on 3 on the left hand side and we didn't go that way

Especially seeing the only place we had a genuine player who could finish a movement was out on the left (Simona )
