What's the go with Buchanan? Seriously , brings absolutely nothing. We have nothing to lose so I don't know why we don't throw caution to the wind and try as many new/young blokes as the nrl will allow. There's a lot of strange things goin on there ATM. What about Santi? Seen him a few times and he seems a real goer to me. Much better than Buchanan. What happened to lodge? Thought he had some animal about him too,but he only got one go and then he was brushed. Somebody please explain.

Also of note, nsw cup is top of the ladder and under 20s are pretty much top 4, why is the nrl side so s***? Surely has something to do with the coaching staff. How can your feeder sides be so good but your top side is so bad? What are we stacking our lower grades or something? So disappointed in our lack of ability at identifying our strengths and weaknesses and acting on them. Very poor management it seems

I think Lodge is injured (surprise, surprise!). Gavet would've been there in place of Buchanan, of course, before his new stuff up. I guess Buchanan is the next cab off the rank - what can ya do?
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen

Buchanan bas actually been quite impressive in state cup and NRL whenever called upon this year. No problems with gavet being dropped for him.

As for the backline, not sure why Sita isn't there instead of Corey.

We would need NRL allowances to promote more, we've already used our 2nd tier cap I believe?

I wonder what Cory Patterson would of said before Round 1 if you told him he was going to get picked to play on the wing twice in 2014

Actually I wonder what any of us would of thought if we'd been told that Corey Patterson would be picked twice on the wing before the end of the season

With Richards out Cory is our kick off specialist ... and there is only 1 T in Paterson

Prepare yourselves for another humiliation.

Forwards are down on confidence, the backline is ramshackle. Bulldogs will be out to hurt us after we embarrassed them, there's 2 valuable comp points and plenty of positive F&A for them here.

I'm not knocking Corey "1 T " Paterson Geo

He didn't do too bad on the wing actually

I was just making the comment , if someone had told me Corey was on the wing I'd have assumed the ASADA boys and girls had cleaned half the side out

Must have been thinking of Brisbane Easts legend Trevor "2 T's" Patterson when typing sorry Geo

Haha probably would have been less surprised at the beginning of the year, given its so in keeping with the last couple of years of injury runs.

It was only after the first 6 rounds it started to seem that change was possible. But that hope died soon enough!

I like Dene Halatau but there has to be some questions about his future as an NRL player
