That reminds me, the NRL draw should be out soon...usually early Nov I think

3400 not bad for this time of year I guess but I think we way behind some others

Hey ink, those numbers for a Dragons fan are very worrying, they must be a very dissallusioned bunch, some people don't like Mayer here but Hate is an understatement with how they feel about Doust

If you listen to sports talkback radio you'd know theyre all mighty peed off...even organized some sort of protest march, wasnt paying too much attention.....it seems theyre losing players left right and centre and signing no one

Hmmmm....ding!

NRL draw out early December.

I don't get why it takes so long.

They're probably still having lengthy discussions with the broncos to see how many Friday night games they want !

How long does it take to simply agree to 'all of them'?

Ink, I was talking to a work colleague last week, her brother in law works in the Dragons football department, she made a comment that Benji is on alot more money than what the media reported, who knows.

I heard that Benji's contract with the dragqueens was VERY heavily back-ended.

Fair enough ,they would of seen Benji as a really big Marketable type player.

She reckons the Dragqueens are in massive problems , she said Morris took a pay cut to stay with them the year they won the Premiership and that when his next Contract came around would be on much bigger dollars , they started talking on a Contract extension a Couple of Months ago but Doust couldn't keep his word (due to Salary Cap issues) that's what she says .
Before anyone jumps down my throat this is only a she say .

I thought they probably wouldve got him on the cheap seeing as he was virtually unwanted by union....who knows?
I dont think Tauber is that smart....I reckon he'd be on far less than what he wanted, maybe less that what he was on here last

The one that interests me is the bunnies numbers. I wonder what it looked like before they won the premiership. There has been a population explosion of green and red bumblebees up here. Never saw one before this years grand final.

Im actually satisfied with those numbers for now. There are only five clubs who have alot more than us at this early stage. One is a one city team and the other four have been consistently successful over the last few years. With similar levels of on-field success, our membership base will increase dramatically.

Can anyone recall out memebership figures around 2010-12 ?

bit of confirmation bias methinks

it was well over 30,000 last year. should be hitting 40-45k this time around (imo)

3.4k isn't too bad

edit: found this post i made in last years thread of 2012 membership numbers

"Nov 14: close to 3500
Nov 16: 4000
Nov 19: 4200
counter introduced
Nov 29: 4,680
Dec 05: 4795
Dec 07: 5008
Dec 19: 5121
Jan 02: 5250
Jan 13: 5556
Feb 04: 5702 [some updating of counter issues around here]
Feb 09: 7628
Feb 18: 7,951
Feb 25: 8786"

and from 2013

Nov 6: 2153
Nov 15: 3000+

doing a lot better than last year then
