Hit it hard and fast and surrendered straight into the play the ball. Set it up.
Galloway was good. Woods was our best forward but Galloway was definitely second.

We can't play a centre who is not fully fit.

I will say it again, Lovett is twice as good as Lawrence!
Today we saw a true champion in Winx, and a true bludger in Cleary!

Yep we played poor in parts but showed grit to stay in the game and get the two points.

Feeling much better than I did after the Dragons game last year.

agreed, we could do without his consistant 160m and solid defence.

You have posted 7 or 8 times in a row in this thread saying the same thing.

Others disagree.

we got very lucky they didnt rule woods' ''try'' a double movement...which it clearly was...I think richards scored after that

It ain't a double movement if it didn't touch the white line.

Just back from the stadium, and yeah, it was a fairly scrappy game from where I was sitting. Most of the forward were O.K. - Woods, Tapau and Lodge were strong. Sirro played pretty well. Farah was way down on form and Keith was 'only just' in my opinion.
Backs showed nothing. Brooks looked better in the second half with a couple of nice darts. Teddy had no opportunities. K.N. was the standout.

What happened to Ava? Someone stood in front of the tele so I only saw him coming off and had no volume.

A bit of post match insight for the people who weren't at the game, I hung around after the match down at the fence to congratulate the boys seeing its probably the only game this poor qld resident will get to attend this season, and from my observation Brooks wasn't entirely happy with himself/the game in general, out of every player I encountered he had the feeling of a loss about him.

thats really harsh..... Simona had a blinder, maybe not so much with his usual flair, though well covered his misgivings with the quality of the rest of his performance.

We were ordinary and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. At the beginning of the year you'll take the comp points however they come but there's a great deal to work on. Poor ball security is again a concern. Plenty of footy to come though so I won't slit my wrists yet.

The Fresh Prince will have a few blokes on their toes.

Frozone was good. In all honesty with the amount of football Nofo has missed, he'll need to work his way back via State Cup to gain match fitness in any event.
