When he ran it on the last, he looked lost, like he was 18 and it was his debut, and he was heavily concussed.

Not like one of the most experienced, who once even played five eighth, and should surely be capable of a kick.

As for the high ball, we are atrocious generally in that regard, especially in attack. But Lawrence is the worst.

Ava showed him how to do it though on the kick off. Hope he was watching.

He runs harder than some others on our team, and has done his job when required.
He was out jumped by Croker, but he wasn't the first and he won't be the last, plus both Croker and Lee had the inside jump. More support from blockers and that wouldn't be a problem.

He got caught on the 5th tackle, not the 6th, so that argument is irrelevant, and he was involved in two try savers today: one swatting the ball dead (quite athletically, mind you) so Croker couldn't get to it, and two helping Tedesco hold up Vaughan.

On past form from the last few years he has not deserved a spot, however this season I think he has hardly put a foot wrong. We may have more dynamic youngsters as options, but performances like this show that we can't just pick a team of 17 kids.
