JT 5 Star Coaching

Post by larrycorowa » Fri 24 Apr, 2015 10:44 pm

The coach had a very good night. All his late changes worked, defence improved, kicking game was excellent and tactics were great

Nice to have a coach who makes unforced changes

Absolutely. Attitude, defence, kicking game, bench rotation & team selection were all major improvements tonight.

Now we have some time off to plan smashing the chooks!

I like the way he deflected the pressure off the team with his comments on the draw during the week....How did Happy put it....Hasler like...

He had the game plan to beat the Dogs by turning them around often in the 1st half...not to dissimilar to the Raiders game...Difference is this week the whole team executed it well...

He's a smart Coach.....getting them up week after week after week will be the test...
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

which is mostly down to the wind i reckon, dunno if you were there but deadset patty richard's 'massive' kickoffs would get booted downfield only to stop in midair about 25-30m and float dowwards. was ridiculous...

JT is a very smart coach. He relates well with his players and gets his point across. Keeps everything simple. Really like the man.

Credit to him tonight. The perfect game plan and players executed it perfectly.

Also great to see him making some changes.

Not sure what the deal is with leaving Lovett off for the entire second half. Reeked havoc with my Supercoach score. He was on track for 50-60 if he played good minutes, then JT decides to bench him for 35 mins.

He got it wrong last week, but tonight he was bang on the money. Credit to him.

Nah, he's still making money. It hurt knowing what his score could have been if he'd gotten an extra 15-20 mins.

I liked his interaction with the players in the sheds - a high five to a couple, hand shake and chat to others and even a shoulder massage - to me that shows a genuine relationship with the players - Robbie smiled and chatted - that has to be a good sign.

JT getting it done. The transformation of the club was evident before season kick off. Total opposite to potter. Amazing what a bit of energy and enthusiasm can do.
