Not tonight ... while in no way am I saying the refs are the reason we lost the latitude Maxwell allowed the Rorters in the ruck and line speed contributed to the scoreline...even the Rorter supporters around me where ecstatic...
Farah was complaining about it all game, the difference in the permitted line speeds. On wide shots you could see the Roosters hanging off side most sets.

It was far worse live....they were off 3 seconds later he'd say hold hold go...they were already gone...

I usually am the first to bag referees, apart from the wrong decision on the try to Lawrence, the refs weren't too bad.

However as I have stated many times the referees have far too much influence on a NRL game compared to other sports. How they control the ruck speed and the 10 metres affects each game, the inconsistencies are very bad in this area and is even worse with two referees on the field both allowing different things in these two areas.

Yeah I think it's time they dumped the whole "2 refs" idea. It's extremely inconsistent, how you can have 2 different interpretations in the same game is beyond the pale.

Mind you, some changes for the video refs need to happen too.

The refs influence in the ruck is helping dictate which side gets momentum and they are certainly making a lot of mistakes there. In the end though, we were beaten by a better side.
