Tariq Sms is a grub!

Post by Milky » Sun 17 May, 2015 5:00 pm

Never noticed this till today, he is targeting Moses which is a part of their game plan, i don't mind that but there is a correct way to do so and that is not to put our bloody players in headlocks, push them and shove them in the ground. Gidley basically chokeslammed Moses, well thats what it looked like i am not going to accuse him 100%. Heres hoping Taupau brings them both back to reality.

I agree, it's clearly their game plan. Let's hope he keeps his cool, starts to run and scores the match winning try.

Our forwards need to have a good look in the mirror.

I wouldn't mind a few more forwards with his aggression. Outside of Taupau our forwards are powderpuffs

For over 100 years players have tried to ruffle the opposition legal and non legal. It happens. Young players cop it more to put them off. Haven't seen anything that bad today.

That's first grade!
I'll take Tariq Sims into our team anyday
he plays like a forward, not like he doesn't want to offend anyone.

Fair game. Moses handled it well.

Don't have a problem with the way he targeted him today... What I do have a problem is how none of our forwards stood up for him and went after sims to let him know they weren't gonna stand by and let him get away with it.

Gould is right, Moses really does play better off the cuff. They should just throw him the ball early when they have no other plan and use Brooks for structured play.

Not that its any excuse for a pathetic display today

But i couldn't believe Gidley swinging an arm and punching Lawrence in the face... and the video ref letting the scrum pack

We are so used to our forwards being nice....whenever the opposition play it hard like it should be played - theyre grubs

This. Always a good sign of how ready a team is to compete when they come sticking up for the smaller guys and aren't worried to throw in a bit of niggle themselves. We seemed ready to play but not ready to match niggle for niggle. We have no grub in us and it cost us.
