Sironen or Lovett?

Unread post by Chris » Fri 24 Jul, 2015 9:39 pm

Sironen hands down. I thought he was really strong tonight. Took some good hit ups and was usually the first man up in the line to make the tackle. He's no superstar but he's head and shoulders ahead of Lovett.

He was pretty solid. Missed a couple of tackles but ran the ball hard. With Lawrence busted and Taupau likely to spend a week on the sideline, our backrow chooses itself next week. I'd be adding Liolevave to the bench.

Yep.

Siro was one of the very few who had a pass mark tonight. Cops very unfair criticism on this forum.

Sirro was great tonight. I really rate the guy but he has to play strong consistently.

He was as good as any of the Roosters backrow.

I keep on saying our left hand side is quite good but its the right hand side of our field is letting us down.lovett, buchanan, richards and Galloway are not first grade footballers.keith and pat were but are past it now, buchanan and Lovett will never be.as for the question sironen is a thousand times better than Lovett.

Sirro for sure. I can't believe our delight at seeing Lovett finally demoted to the bench only lasted a few minutes!!! Might have been a different game if Lawrence had stayed on the field, but we'll never know. Both Lawrence and Taupau will be missing next week...happy days

You could tell he was getting under JWH's skin, the way he reacted after that late ruck penalty. Hit well and ran with energy.

Probably his best game this year, he run without hesitation, and was good in defence.
Lovett was better than the last few games, but we have better 2nd rowers - Akauola and Funaki.

I thought Sironen was the sole reason our right hand side defense improved. He played really well, ran out of steam a bit at the end but stands out in our pack as someone who can go to the next level.

Can see him improving enough to be in and around the Oirgin team in a year or two.

As for Lovett well anyone a fan of the Walking Dead, once he gets tired its all arms.

He is a zombie plodder.
