It's a crazy year. 4 points between 10th and last. 4 between 1st and 8th.

Guess who's 9th....

I think we will need 14 wins, but winning the next three won't be the toughest thing we've done all year. Up to the players to give themselves a shot.

The best we can do now is win all three final games
Maybe make the finals
But finish strong and that finish may help us snare a decent player or three

Win our last 3 and see what happens

if we get to 30 points and miss the 8 we should be mighty proud still

Be the highest score not to make Top 8
They said on the coverage, no team has had 13 wins and missed the 8
Not something I want my team to be first at doing!

Yep I think that’s a fair call.

I think the broncos will win tonite so that's it for us
Souths having a few out is a worry.
A few teams have learnt how to control their DH and thus control the game (sorry to mention but I think we got the better deal) but I hope the Burgess boys kill it.
You restrict Cook by not allowing them quik PTBs...easier said than done
Souths looked tired after a massive game v Melb & then Roosters last week

We can. There's no reason we can't win the next 3 games. I always thought it was the Dragons we would replace if we make it. They are suffering major confidence problems and we can keep that going this weekend. Balls in our court.

Well we have to beat them all to win the grand final.

That sounds like the sort of record this club loves to achieve.
Its an opinion!

Is it just me that thinks the Broncos are the wrong target? I reckon Dragons are more likely to drop out, just pray that the Bulldogs do us a favour. Their other two games are away to us and the Knights.

In any case, we have no option but to win our last three games and keep our fingers crossed. It's a funny game, and stranger things have happened (mostly to to us!).

I'm cheering the team on, but I think we're done this year.

Put it down to the 2 games against Parra and Newcastle.

There's still a chance the Broncos will lose to the Roosters and we win our next 2.

With 1 match to play, anything could happen, however we have a tough final match against Souths.

The smokey here could be the Dragons losing their last 3 games and we sneak in on for and against. Fingers crossed.

I just want us to finish strongly, no timid performances.

While we’ve fought back over the last 4-6 weeks, we still only have ourselves to blame. Winning 2 out of 11 during the middle part of the year broke our backs. Inexcusable after the way we started. I guess we can take the way we are finishing into the pre season and build on it. Depth’s looking skinny though.

To be any chance we need to win all remaining games which will get us to 30 points and ideally, Broncos, Dragons, Warriors and Sharks all lose their remaining games leaving them on 28 each... Stranger things have happened.

Agree, I'm still hopeful we can scrape in. There are quite a few games to go just have to see how things pan out.
We also could be better off not being in the 8 next week, and having to maintain the fight.

The performance of the team always seems to be better when they are chasing an objective and are hungry.Complacency(resting on our laurels) is usually a disaster performance wise.
If the hunger is there our chances improve, beating the dragons is a good way to start

Last time we got 14 wins in the regular season we won the comp.

It's a weird ladder this year that a team with 11/21 wins (us) isn't in the Top 8, and that it looks like 13 wins will be the cutoff.

On average, 14/24 wins in a season puts a team 5th or 6th, 12 wins put a team in 8th and 13 wins puts a team in 7th.

If we win 1 more game (12), we will have had our winningest season since 2011, and every time we've won more than 12 matches we've been in the finals.

Unfortunately the Broncos win may have been the nail in the coffin regardless of the Dragons game
