Telegraph at it again

Unread post by Tiger Steve » Thu 24 Aug, 2017 12:08 pm

The conspiracy to continually paint the Tigers in a poor light has resurfaced in today's rubbish newspaper. Highlighted by the paper is the poll result that the Tigers are the most favoured team to relocate. There is so much this crap newspaper could have focussed on from the poll but it chose to run a headline and half page photo focussed on the Tigers. on one hand we should just ignore the rubbish writings from these half baked journalists. On the other hand it would be nice to see Pascoe and the board hold the newspaper accountable for their slanderous campaign.

Dont worry, when we win our next premiership in the next 2-3 years, there will be a vote to claim Leichardt and Campbelltown as the new major cities in NSW, making Sydney seem redundant..

Slow news week..

Just another brain dead journalist who has run out of ideas, and what do you do when you run out of ideas? You write another pointless, negative article involving the Tigers because its sure to get attention

In 2014 when the sharks were reeling from the Asada scandal and on their way to the wooden spoon, the sharks were everyone's suggestion when asked which Sydney team can relocate. The best way to distance ourselves from this talk is by winning football games, and playing finals footy. 3 finals series in 18 seasons is not good enough.

For what it's worth, I think if anyone, the sharks should be relocated. They are sandwiched between the dragons two areas so they could easily be transitioned into another dragons area.
Year of last finals appearance:
2017 - Storm, Roosters, Broncos, Eels, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Panthers, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2015 - Rabbitohs, Dragons
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers, Warriors

Isn't this story just a rehash from a few months ago?

I seem to remember a poll being taken and the suggestion was that we relocate to Perth because we have Wests in our title.

No doubt about the Telecrap - they hate us BIG TIME.

Maybe we can get Bob Fulton'd Truck to run over the Drunkard. He is a very, very poor excuse for a journalist anyway.

Well it is a problem. Sydney having so many teams.

it's catch 22 now though, each team is getting funding of 130% of any cap moving forward so no-one will go broke surely. It just means the "bug" clubs stay on top because of TPAs. Lets see how Roosters, Bulldogs, Storm and Broncos go without their wink wink lure.

Right now is the best time to cull teams but the worst teams are outside of Sydney - Titans and Knights.
If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse

It's logical really.

Rorters and Souffs merge - their area of Sydney is still one of if not the smallest areas of Sydney.

Would love to see it!!!!

And to think Sydney had Balmain, Wests, Newtown, Norths, Easts, Parra, St George, Manly, Penrith, Cronulla (any others?). Now we have Knights, Raiders, Storm, Broncos, Titans, Cowboys...
