The dogs and storm both won two years after being caught cheating the cap, so it wouldn't surprise me if parra won. If so, it would demonstrate that cheating the cap is entirely worth it. All you have to do when you get caught is play the victim, then the next year all is forgiven and you're in a good position to win the year after. Just another messed up thing about rugby league.

Hard to see how the Storm don't win again next year. They're on another level. No Cronk? No worries, they'll find someone else. Just like they replaced Slater when he was injured.

It's easy to see how they won this year... After screwing up majorly against the sharks in 16 the desire and hunger was massive... Hard to see them maintain that intensity

Slater is still the best fullback in the game. Cameron Smith is unbelievable and seems to have gone to another level. Cronk can't be replaced but they have very few weaknesses across the paddock. They will be there or thereabouts.

Lets do a twilight zone one.

1. Premiership Winner - Raiders, Stewart works it out for once.

2. Wooden Spoon - Roosters, finally the Salary cap auditors catch up too them when they discover Mitchell Pierce being donated a Tibetan Mastiff outside the cap.

3. Daly M - Mitchell Moses for his most brilliant season yet (awarded posthumously*)

4. Biggest improver - No one, Surprisingly each team tries as hard as last year and ends up in exactly the same position.

5. Biggest fall - Canterbury Bankstown, who finding their past roots decided to embrace the "Berries" again as their mascot.

6. First coach sacked - Paul Green, for negotiating with the Broncos. This is immediately followed by the sacking of Wayne Bennett.

7. Coach of year - Stephen Kearny (for improving the Warriors to the finals).

8. Top Tryscorer - Josh Drinkwater who discovered renewed inspiration under Jason Taylor.

9. Tigers player of year - Kevin Naquama**

10. Tigers Position - 7th, NRL history records altered!

*Some Parra fans discover Mitchell negotiating with rival clubs for even more money. The Parramatta Reaper appears to Mitchell and attempts to attack him, Mitchell thinking it's his Uncle Benny in disguise and has a heart attack.
**Forum explodes.

it will be a big year for the club but just to make the top 8 would be great, knights will improve but team like the titans or warriors might struggle

<unknown player> Just as good as Cooper Cronk... Ah that's why we offered Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses 500K each to play with us. Cooper only has 10+ years experience and a proven track record. Ofcourse raw talent will be better.
