Need a dummy half

Post by tigerstragic » Sat 24 Mar, 2018 1:47 am

What was very clear at the game tonight was the woeful service from both tigers hookers.

Passes at players earholes, behind them, and just plain slow cost us 5-10 meters each hit up not to mention stiffles the attack when we wanted to run the ball.

Some of professional skills from the dummy halfs were amateurish. We have a dummy half in 1st grade NRL who cant pass left to right!!!!!!When is JL back?

Good because as above we desperatly need a good dummy half. Its where all the problems stem from in our attack. Slow indirect service ruined so many plays from even getting started and the lack of threat means the markers ca take off quick as well.

I agree. It was really bad. We struggle to really get on the front foot as it is in attack and this is really adding to it. Liddle may be a few weeks away first grade wise, but the current two don't create anything, rarely run, and their service is poor.

I might cop some flack here but I don't mind our current rotation with Killer and Godinet but here it comes, I actually don't rate Liddle I'm not sold on him. I would be more inclined to throw ET in there

Both had some pretty ordinary moments last night,MM I noticed had trouble even making it to dummy half at times.

I thought we looked better in attack when Godinet was on, but MM did have some good scoots out of dummy half. Tough one, as it seems to be position we are lacking in at the moment, I hope liddle is the answer he looks promising but still haven't seen enough of him yet to convince me he is our long term solution.
