Hardaker. Add Joe Burgess. They are among the best players in England and regularly picked for the test team, but were fringe NRL 1st graders.
In fairness to Hardaker, he is a fullback who was played on the wing and centre, would have liked to see him at fullback

I don’t think you need to assume Tui gets stuck in reserves. He was guilty of trying too hard yesterday and made error after error when we needed to hold the ball and kick to the corners. Put his team under pressure and they paid the price eventually. Ivan wouldn’t have been impressed as it’s exactly the type of play we are trying to move away from. I think heleta is a better option at 1. I expect Thompson to put the issue beyond doubt today.

I think tui only got a run because of his goal kicking anyway.

They should drug test the Sunday Footy panel. Someone is smoking Crack over at channel 9 if they think Tui's is going to replace Sue.

Imo we've found our fullback and Tui isn't it.
I can't see Tui in the 17 with all hands on deck.

Where does he play?

Tui stays in reggies, but even there he didn't look good yesterday. Something else is going on I think, but for now Thompson is our no.1 until Tui can prove otherwise.

Don't think so Geo - got them all.

Mind you it was a new found Tigers - for once not scoring in the corners.

For those who doubted the selection of Thomson to FB and Noffa onto the wing at the expense of Tui - I think yesterday's game, along with Tui's efforts in ISP, proved that the move was on the money.
As for Tui... he has to step up an earn his spot just like everyone else is, otherwise he'll be playing ISP all year.

Gee Hobbo would of kicked most of those while still carrying a tinnie

Lets see when he has a pressure kick to win a game .....

Its a shame. I like his game, he can pull something outta nothing and he has a lot of talent, just dont seem to have the desire reqd

I think you are right, probably why he has played a lot of reggies over the years, his effort on the weekend is not going to get him recalled, probably lucky if he isn't moved out for Heleta to slot back in at fullback.

Are we talking about saturdays ISP game against north’s?
His defence on the line was shocking.
He is a long way off making a return to first grade.
I was in his corner before the season kicked off but the only thing he has brought to the team is goal kicking.
He was involved in 3 or 4 poor reads on the line and also dropped of 2 tackles that lead to try’s.
Thompson on the other hand had a blinder not a thing to criticise in his game.
