If Ivan moves on at the end of his contract
Re: If Ivan moves on at the end of his contract
If he moves on at the end of his contract they will hire another coach i hope or better yet they can bring back Terry Lamb and the proctologist
If he does move on, I would go all out for Bellamy...

We wouldn't need to look far...
Brett Hodgson
He's been here for the rebuild and knows how Ivan is getting these results - rinse and repeat (I hope).
In saying that, let's just enjoy this year first.

Let's sack him now before he eventually decides to leave.
I think there is a rabbits reserve grader looking for a gig. We could sign him as cap coach and bring back the departed trio from the big 4 and sack brooks.
This positive form our team has shown this is year is unbearable.

Ivan has done a great job so far and we should be just enjoying the ride , what happens in 2 years no one will know but if we are still competative our club will do there best to keep him , we may end up like the Storm and have a long term coach and be up,the pointy end for years to come , time now is just Enjoy what's going on
What about when we all die, and on our death-beds wish Tigers had won more footy games?
Enjoy the now, I'm quietly confident that he will stay beyond 2020 given Ivan & Pascoe will want to reap the rewards for all their efforts in re-building the club.
i see a trajectory similar to panthers- i think ivan will move on at the end of his tenure
anyways, hypotheticals but id be lying if i didnt think about it

Thats an important notion. Players, officials even fans come and go. But the one thing that always remains is the club.NT Tiger wrote: ↑Mon 16 Apr, 2018 9:19 pmI reckon Ivan will move on at some time in the future. There will be much gnashing of teeth. Just like the when the mythical three walked off into the mists of football oblivion. But we survived. Nay, we thrived, for we are (thats the royal we) Wests Tigers.
Or something like that.
Thirty years ago one of the greatest coaches of the modern era (Warren Ryan) was coaching Wests while a punk kid (Ivan Cleary) was still in school squeezing pimples.
In 1965 a punk kid Warren Ryan made his debut under the great Norm Provan.
Who knows, in 30 years Benji Marshal might be coaching a side getting ready to defend their 4th consecutive premiership

That was the line used - I think it was because he wouldn't do what Gus wanted.upthetigers wrote: ↑Tue 17 Apr, 2018 11:12 amI believe Gus moved him on because he felt he became tired but he wanted to stay on.

Not sure what Ivan is thinking for his next Contract and the Nathan Cleary factor.
I'm sure Uncle Nick will be throwing everything at him and will be doing everything in his power to get them as a package deal.....you can see it coming a mile away , what a boring Club to go to .
What a story that would be if he was able to turn this Club from what it was to a Premiership force year in year out , fingers crossed we can more than match rival offers and he stays long term with his son part of the package.

It depends who you talk to on this Forum, if you are Optimistic? it's because your delusional and need a reality check. If you are Pessimistic? Your accused of being a negative Nancy and to go and follow another Club.
Peace and love

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse
