Make a play for Clint Gutherson, James Roberts and Jack De Belin.
1. Gutherson
2. Thompson
3. Roberts
4. Marsters
5. Kev/Nofoaluma/MWZ/Fonua/Tui
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks
8. Packer
9. Liddle
10. De Belin
11. Lawrence
12. MCK/Garner/Rochow
13. ET

14. Gamble/MCK/Tui/Fonua/Eisenhuth/Rochow
15. Matulino
16. Twal
17. Aloiai
Add Eiso, and 2020 Cleary, and awesome.
Maybe Mansour for Roberts.
Well if I were recruiting players I would be targetting:

For 2019 (3-4 Players): Ah Mau, Auva'a, Ferguson, Gildart, Isaako, Mansour, Maumalo, Meaney, Oates, Papalii, S Boyd, Soliola, TPJ, T Williams,

For 2020 (2-3 Players): Asofa-Solomona, Blake, Campbell-Gillard, Cleary, D Walker, F Kaufusi, Field, Fisher-Harris, Fusitu'a, Gela-Mosby, Gutherson, Hess, Holmes, Kikau, Rapana, Sims

I'd like to see Garner as one of the 3

I agree re Garner. Runs hard on the edge and tackles even harder.

Apparently Manly have several spots to fill... I wonder how many spots need to be filled across all clubs... Might give an idea of what may be available

I think that we are still paying Curtis so that counts as 1 spot we don't have to fill.

Given we had to pay Milne out of this years cap and prob almost half his contract (Nov-Marc) id say he counts as well. So in reality we only id say need to sign 1 we prob could sing up to 3 but 1 min

I was just thinking the same thing myself - what a farce this game has become - we opened up a spot because we let Milne go - Why? We let him go because we were informed he had a second strike on recreational drugs when we didn't even know he had a first strike - why? because Saints who knew he had a first strike didn't have to tell us when we signed him that he had a first strike. Well surely you say the NRL should have told us at the time of registering his contract that he already had a first strike against him. Silly you!! No the NRL don't notify as its against privacy principles and could jeopardise the wellbeing of the individual. Who is on first? Yes.

I wouldve thought we had to be informed of this before he was signed, surely its on his record?
And why can we inform the public of the 2nd breach, but them not the first?

That would be the common sense approach Ink, but the Privacy Laws are so onerous that I would be very doubtful the NRL were even allowed to share the information. It's mad but true.

We'd need to have 2 centres/outside back in the 3 that get promoted. We've lost 2 and they need to be replaced in our top 30. These will most likely need to come from outside the the club as we have no good outside backs at the club presently.

We currently have 2 centres in our top 30 and we don't want to rely on playing people out of position when you've got such a large squad to potentially choose from.

The other spot should go to Garner.

This is unless a star player can be signed in which case we just go for it. Quite likely that Grant won't be with us much longer IMO too.

Ivan doesn't like to panic. Obviously keeping his powder dry for something that may pop up and if nothing comes along before June 30 he'll promote those waiting in the wings - easy.
