Clean out and look at players we can get
Hookers , Issac Luke (31) , Apisai Koroisau (25)
Props , Aaron Woods , Peni Terepo (26)
Back Row , Ethan Lowe (27) , Jason , Bakuya (30 April 19), Rhyse Martin (25), Shaun Lane (23), Ray Stone (21), Tom Eisenhuth (25), Corey Waddell (21), Tyrell Fuimaono (22).
Centre , Brian Kelly (22) , Blake Ferguson (28) , George Jennings (25), Tom Opacic (23), Brenko Lee (22), Corey Dennis (20), Brent Naden (22), Dane Aukafolau (20), Kirisome Auva'a (26), Nathan Davis (22), Hymel Hunt (24),
Wing , Ken Maumalo (23) , Anthonio Winterstein (30), Jamayne Isaako (22, Jonus Pearson (23), Edrick Lee (25), Tyrone Roberts-Davis (20), Bradon Burns (21), Robert Jennings (22), Rueben Garrick (20), Patrick Herbert (21)
All off contract end 2018 , Woods contract will end as soon as a club grabs him
Ages added for relevance:
I would put a line through 3 or 4 of them based on that, and added a few more for consideration. There is plenty available, is just a matter of how much we are prepared to offer & what opportunity they will get here as opposed to their current clubs.

IC should play McQueen at prop in the NRL playing long minutes.

Hopefully he can then medically retire. win/win.

Agree with this list

The following players have no future IMO with the Tigers, they should be punted after this year:

Lolohea
McQueen
Chee Kam
Godinet
Malaka
Mcillwrick
Sue
Grant
Benji

We need to recruit a top shelf:

Second rower (someone like Tyson Fizzell)
Winger (pace to burn)
Centre (can set up a winger and create tries. solid in defence)
Hooker (still have hope for Liddle but need a back up)
Actually playing McQueen at Prop might not be such a bad idea. It might bring out some of the mongrel he use to have.

Grass is always greener..

Would rather concentrate on attracting seasoned NRL players than swapping numpty's for numpty's...

Of course the quality has to want to come..with Ivan we shouldn't have a problem..a turnover of a 1/3rd of the roster is not unusual..
Ivan's Laws

1. You are either on the Bus or you are off..
2. The Star of the Team is the Team
3. Be the player your teammates want to play with..

If that's all there is then we are in big trouble.

So next season is a rebuilding year with a large turnover of the roster?

You can only move on whose off contract, and then you can only really replace with players who are on similar money and hope you unearth 3 or 4 Corey Thompson’s. Pretty unlikely.

Can’t argue with OP. Maybe Chee Kam out of that lot is the only one worth keeping & Marshall at a coaching role for the halves

Still, Cleary has done pretty well with what was available IMO

If we time contracts correctly we can clear out a third of the squad each season and just pull the rebuilding card for now and eternity.

About 5 players is average , maybe Cleary might cull more , to get his signature side

I’d take Isaac Luke
Let's make the Tigers great again!
