Try quoting directly. What you have said is not what I remember.
Brooks definetly didn’t say that
Your right GCT

He definitely said he would hunt down the coaches son and Gus Gould and kick them repeatedly in the goolies

It was headlines in the DT "Brooks hunting Gus's goolies " Buzz Rothfield story

Geez, that’s a bit of an over reaction. Isn’t it..? 🤣
Its Gus , nothing is an overreaction GCT

Think I kept it pretty low key actually

One thing that you can bet on is that there will be some great banners at the first WT vs Panthers game, hopefully it will be at LO.

I'd wait for Bennet, best chance to recruit well for 2020, and a definite pathway for the club.

Could live with Cleary for 1 yr if the future was crystal clear, if we can't lock it then Madge all the way.

I get the Bennett magic, experience etc. and I’ve heard many times that his players love him. But isn’t anyone concerned that he’s getting a bit old? Maybe it’s not an issue but everyone fades with time. I’m not against him coming but I’m just a bit hesitant.

Nothing happening around Brent Reads place tonight eh!
Time to consult the Runes and the chicken entrails

Ah yes Bennett still interested in the WTs but What’s This..???..JT is off to bundle up Wayne’s old bones and drop them into the nearest bin, and win the race to Concord or LO, or Cambelltown (or wherever the hell the WTs are calling home this week) and take command of the Tigers.

Within half an hour of returning he had half of the team asleep and the remainder were busy having lessons on 3 word slogans and being quizzed on the JT book of excuses.

The phones at the clubs toilets (still under renovations )absolute lit up with both supporters wanting To speak to JT, but were told that that sort of language wasn’t welcome , and that the Board have complete confidence in the new coach

Training had to be cancelled after that, as trying to stop the entire Squad from rolling around the ground pissing themselves laughing was next to impossible. :roll

As I said the other day , was about 4 seconds away from winning a premiership in 2015

Players want to play for him , much like Terry Lamb

Yeah I’m just interested in people’s thoughts - that’s all. I don’t doubt his ability, presence, knowledge etc. I’d be happy if he signed - just wondering if others have concerns around his age

Spot on Patriot. Cleary remains and we ‘drift!’ No way Pascoe is thinking that way. Cleary is gone - no doubts
Your on the money here Patriot.

majority of fans: every tiger supporter i know is against Cleary being here next year
media: ex players, media in every single newspaper, website..etc.. fairfax, news ltd, fox sports. ALmost every single one of them says that its untenable for Cleary to be here next year.
players: . as if the players who bought into Clearys dream are happy he is deserting them.

Ignore the noise Patriot, these trolls probably agree with you. But they play the man not the ball.

CLeary here next year is a disaster for this club and i have faith that Pascoe and Go will never allow that to happen.

This i know, i can read body language.
Lol lol lol lol

It has to be 2019 for Bennett or move on to someone else.

Something is going to have to happen soon then. Pre season starts in less than 3 weeks, or thereabouts. If he's here day one of pre season, he's here for 2019.
I think that's what Jason Taylor thought to at the beginning of 2017...
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

X2 for me
McGuire for me if no WB next year... He also wants to stay involved with NZ so that would help attract players also.

6 premierships with an Australian and QLD SOO squad pretty average results.

It doesn’t have to be anything. Eating 12 months for Bennett would work out fine.

IF the Tigers want Bennett this is smart business come now or don’t come at all. Broncos don’t want him he wants one ast year with a gun up and coming squad to boost his stocks. Perhaps take over Souths or Parra next year. I’d lean towards Madge personally but if it’s our call between the two hats off to the leadership this was well played.

From a corporate and recruitment perspective Bennett has it over MaGuire...he has pulling power...
Hmm that's true.
Yes, Bennett would be good for our club,.
