One of the reasons coaches change clubs like undies is because they generally get sacked.

Another blowhard masquerading as a WT’s legend.
That's a low blow

He loves the club like ex Balmain and wests fans do

He doesn't chase the headlines like Elias and Roach

I'm guessing the press chased him and he just gave his opinion

Just because he is ex Balmain doesn't mean he doesn't care about WT and is chasing the spotlight
That's true. Briefly spoke to him at the 05 grand final, he's one of us.
Thanks gallagher

I can't recall him being quoted as a WestsTigers legend, or saying that he was.
There is a blowhard about though.

That's pretty ordinary even for you GNR. I believe Brasher played lower grade for the Magpies as well.

Looks like i’ve upset a few. Sorry, tired of hearing from players who never put on the WT’s jersey. We had one article yesterday hearing from Skando and Richards after hearing from Elias for the upteemth time a day before. Now we’ve gone backwards again.

Were you a Wests or Balmain supporter before becoming a WT supporter?

Wests. But i’d equally have zero interest in hearing anything Tommy dribbles out these days.

Understand what you are saying but i think it's the likes of Elias that's spoiling it for everyone else

We are a merged club and i know that means we are a new club but old players from the 2 merged club's still care

It's just that the likes of Elias spoil it for the rest

Brasher doesn't deserve to be tarred with the same brush

We have fans from both ex club's sharing opinions of their thoughts on our club

Why can't respected ex players have a say

We can still bag Elias

He deserves it

Brasher is a deadset legend. One of my favourite ever players!

So you were a Wests supporter and now you're a WT supporter commenting on Wests Tigers. What is so wrong with a past Balmain player (presumably now a WT supporter) commenting on Wests Tigers? I don't have a problem with it. The more positive public support we get the better as far as I'm concerned.

Why cant the former players have the same level of support as us fans. Hypocritical for us to still be supporting the club but expect the former player to just drop off.

Agreed, except for Elias as he just sprouts crap and is probably the reason why most get their back up about non WT players being quoted in the media.

Understandable. Still waiting for him to move to Perth.

Exactly right. The JV brought together two sets of fans and two histories with over a hundred years worth of players. Old players don’t have to shut up, they are an important part of it. And Brasher isn’t someone that hungers for attention at all. Was actually interesting to hear his thoughts.
