Wests Tigers back-rower Chris Lawrence spoke to the media ahead of his side's clash with the St. George-Illawarra Dragons this Saturday afternoon at ANZ Stadium.

Now that's how you handle media questions on your future....Regardless of what happens with Farah... Rowdy should be given the Captaincy next season...
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

They have. New coach, new trainers, new CEO, shedding the old CEO, new training facilities, new board, getting the salary cap under control, shedding some players. Not bad for 12 months.

Now if the feral fans would just settle down and let the club get on with it, we will be ok.

So JT is getting rid of him too? WE will have no one over 23?
Today we saw a true champion in Winx, and a true bludger in Cleary!

I'm staying at Wests Tigers: Lawrence
Matt Encarnacion

Wests Tigers veteran Chris Lawrence has guaranteed he will be at Concord next year despite speculation the NRL club is looking to offload him one season before his current deal expires.

Rumours were rife mid-season that the 26-year-old was set to get the tap on the shoulder from the Tigers due to growing salary cap pressures.

However it is skipper Robbie Farah that is now set to get pushed out in a move that would leave Lawrence as the oldest player on the roster next season.

"Next season I'll be at the Tigers," Lawrence declared on Tuesday.

Really puts things in perspective this comment. Add to that our young blokes now have a further 20 odd first grade games under their belts.

He has been so much better since moving to the forwards, glad he is staying.

Chris Lawrence should be amicably restructured and extended I have been a big critic but for the right money say average at $350k p.a. with a rising salary cap he is worth it. Has won me over a a second rower.
