$54 k for running 3rd isn't too be laughed at

Pity I didn't throw some tips out last week , picked 6 winners and 3 place getters from 12 last week

Won't touch them this week , I reckon my luck run out last week
True to form Ebenezer...
Mate none of them were big money earners Hauraki probably paid the most of the winners

This weeks tips if I'd backed them would of been true to form :bawling

Never been a big Caulfield fan Geo , track is different and many horses struggle to cope with it

Yes of course we have had some champions win the Caulfield - Melbourne double , but just as many fail at Caulfield and come out and kill it in the Cup

Not much value in Brisbane and Sydney either , lot of short priced stuff in small fields

Jameka handles Caulfield well usually , she'd be my pick and for a roughie if Tally can cope with the wide gate it could run a big race also

I got the Melby quaddie yesterday. Had a pretty decent run the last few weeks, as there haven't been too many roughies spoiling the party.

I bet against Jameka, though. Couldn't have been more wrong.

Winx v Hartnell at Cox Plate

Huge race and I don't think Yankee Rose is out of the question with the huge advantage at the scales

Few tips for tomorrow ( not having a bet , working )

Brisbane Race 3 3 Wicked Intent
Brisbane Race 4 3 Sea Red
Brisbane Race 5 10 Nilette
Brisbane Race 10 Bidii Babe

Sydney Race 3 7 Rose of Man
Sydney Race 4 1 Onerous
Sydney Race 7 2 Circular
Sydney Race 8 2 Happy Hannah

Melbourne Race 3 9 Brulee
Melbourne Race 7 7 Federal
Melbourne Race 8 1 Gallante
Melbourne Race 9 10 Yankee Rose PLACE (reckon it will definitely place and will pay more for the place than Winx will for the win )

Bloody shocking , unless picking donkeys that run 3rd is now good ,fortunately none of the hard earned went down the drain

At least my call on Yankee rose was on the mark

Moonee Valley made it hard ,weather reports day before and even morning of made it sound like it might be a heavy track , leant towards mud larks

R1 Flemington - #15 Resin. 2nd foal to G1 Doomben 10000 winner Beaded track debut. First foal Bezel has 2 wins from 4 starts including a place in the Carbine Club Stakes only a week or two ago. Very impressive trial winner.

Is currently getting crunched.
