Re: Cricket Season Thread
Good dig to get his confidence up. If they serve a minefield up in the fourth Test he may struggle again though. Even Shaun Marsh batted patiently.
Don't try to tell me awesome power can corrupt a person, you haven't enough to know what it's like; you're only angry because you wish you were in my position, you nod your head because you know that I'm right.

No changes for Australia despite talk of playing Jackson Bird
Australia bowled out for 300
Disappointing especially since we were 1-144
Good knock from the skipper getting another 100
Warner got a start but again couldn't go on.
Wade made a good half-century.
Handy contribution from Cummins with 21
Kuldeep Yadav on debut: 23 overs, 3 maidens, 4/68, 2.95 economy
India will have to come in for 1 over before stumps.

I will support Wests Tigers through thick or thin
I will be cheering when they win
I will love the Tigers Till I Die
With loyal supporters we will fly
I love the Tigers with my heart and soul
I just love the club as a whole
If the Wests Tigers believe
We will Unite, Commit and Achieve

Australia on fire in Bangaladesh. A true battle of the heavyweights
Bangars look likely to take a first innings lead.
Pretty poor effort after the very public pay dispute.

Should have offered to pay them per run. Would have saved Cricket a bit of money
What a joke Warner is. Definition of a flat track bully.

Lucky we have a decent tail. Over 50 runs between Agar and Cummins!
Add in Starc & Pattinson for the Ashes, then our tail might end up adding 100 runs every innings.

Yes he will and that's the problem. He'll come out here, bat on a concrete track, score a hundred and everyone loves him. What he needed to do was fight fire with fire back in India - but he fell well short.

Kolhi didn't go any better in his home conditions and he is higher up on the ICC rankings

That's certainly true. I just reckon, and I think you agree, that had our VC stood up like our captain did, we'd have beaten IndiaWestsBenTigers wrote: ↑Mon 28 Aug, 2017 9:09 pmAgree 100%Tiger Steve wrote: ↑Mon 28 Aug, 2017 9:06 pmYes he will and that's the problem. Well earned pay rise there boys. If they lose this I hope the media and public absolutely hammer them.
Too busy worrying about already stacking their already stupid pay packets instead of worrying about the game they are paid to play.

Yeah it's pretty galling given how much money is floating around in Twenty20. Greed is on the rise and rise in professional sport.Cultured Bogan wrote: ↑Tue 29 Aug, 2017 8:33 amWell earned pay rise there boys. If they lose this I hope the media and public absolutely hammer them.

Especially when they've repeatedly said it's not about them, but they got a bigger cut of the revenue than last time, and their salaries will increase by 25% in the next five years.Nelson wrote: ↑Tue 29 Aug, 2017 8:03 pmYeah it's pretty galling given how much money is floating around in Twenty20.
