I'd be surprised if brett Stewart doesn't come back, he was close last week and round 2 is 10 days from that.

Confident of rolling this lot if we play somewhere close to our best.

Rubbish, overated pack.
Rubbish five-eight, leaving everything on DCE's shoulders
Unproven hooker.

Their FB and and centres are their strengths.

Win the ruck, limit the room for their wide men and we should win comfortbaly,

By the looks of that side with the size of the pack and the reserve forwards they've named its fair to say that they will try and outmuscle us in the forwards

Marty went on hands and knees pleading to Barrett to play him wide so he doesn't have Sauaso's boot prints over him all night..

A better pack/bench than Barret's first attempt for mine.

We will see just how good Sirro and Taupau are if they match up as per program, and with the Eagles aiming look at my biceps squarely at Moses all night it will be busy on our right edge.

I reckon our fellow will have his measure and at about half the price.

If Manly runs out per program we're a very good chance here. Williame had a stinker last week and Tafua has terrible reads in defence at the best of times. I'd be far more worried if lyon was in the no 6 over walker too but they already have Matai and Lyon in the centres so they're probably going to have to persist with walker for a while yet.

Executing snake to return for them which would unfortunately see Williame dropped (unfortunately for us).

We were pretty good in the forwards last week but we need to be strong up front most weeks, not just once a month like prior years.

Taupau in the back row to run at our halves all day? Our centres and back row need to run Marty stupid and limit his attack. He'll bludge out in the back row and save his energy so he can try and run over our little guys.

Hopefully we can get them, but I'm wary of a scorned Manly Forward Pack.

Tigers by 1 will do!

They will be better this week than last week. There forward pack is huge including the bench.

Heat won't play a part so it will come down to smart possession footy.

If we leak points in spurts we will get toweled as Manly play off motivation.

Taupau on his day is the only real threat in that forward pack, the rest are pretty industrial. We've got them covered for speed in the backs too. Almost did a backflip when I realised that Lyon is now 34, he's not the player he once was.

Provided we aim up in the middle, I'm confident we'll get this one.

I reckon Brenton Lawrence will aim up , we need to put some solid hits on these blokes early

JT should see this coming. Play them out wide and stretch the field which, Brooks and Moses will do.
If they are effectively playing 4 props Starling, Myles, Trbojevic, Taupau to start and Vave & Lawrence on the bench we need to be uptempo.

I don't think Dylan Walker is going to be a success at five eight but geez he has blinders against us. After a poor game last week i think we'll have to watch him or he could break us apart. I don't expect DCE to be the same player without Foran and to be fair i like our chances. I just hope the older guys have been keeping everyone level headed so they don't expect to win this without a fight. The warriors were poor for 50 minutes last week and we just got across the line. Luke Brooks for Man of the Match.

I don't think it will be too long before Barrett has Lyon at 5/8 and Walker at centre. A lot of pressure on DCE, he'll need to have a blinder soon before the Manly fans start to turn on him. Hopefully Manly drop as much ball as the Warriors did in the first half.
