Our mob v sharks

Post by maxxy86 » Mon 28 Mar, 2016 8:29 pm

Seems like the coach is deluding himself by saying in the press conference he's happy with our defence.

Bench - Lovett (as he will a guaranteed spot anyway) Unless suspended
Bench - Dene ( Love him but I think this HAS to be his last season, looks too battered and tired)
Bench - Ava ( Must have this power House)
Bench Griffin (cant wait to see him have a hit)

Outs:
Cherrington (Cant have 3 Hookers, he cant play 2nd row)
Buch - Useless - Should mysteriously retire or sign for Super League
Brooks - Overly disappointing today and massively overrated (based on current performance)

Lovett wont be playing as will get a week for his 2 high shots

Can only see the following changes

Halatau replace Lovett into starting backrow
Kam or Edwards on the bench

What I would like to see would be JAC on the wing for Rankin, Buch replaced, Kam & Edwards on the bench.

Unless our halves can muster some sense of a decent performance, the sharks will strangle us, much the same way Parra did.

Lovett is hopeless and will be suspended (hopefully anyway).

Cherrington misses out but i really think you cannot carry two hookers. You need size and power on your bench and go forward. We really lacked today when woods and grant were off as it was left to ava. I think the above bench has size and power with chee kam giving you cover in the centres/backrow and prop at a squeeze.

Whatever the case I'm happy we will have CL back, he will plug one hole.
It would have been good to have Sirro back too.. These 2 could have motored the full 80 giving the real forwards a good rotation

This looks good but I'd cut Rankin and let literally ANYONE from NSW CUP who has been performing have his place.

Ins: Joel Edwards, Chris Lawrence, Michael Chee Kam, Josh Addo Carr
Outs: Jack Buchanan, Kyle Lovett, Manaia Cherrington, Jordan Rankin

I liked the idea of Rankin but Addo Carr is going to offer more on the wing. The position just doesn't suit Rankin.

Farah in State cup. Rankin in State cup.

We all know JT is not leaving Jordan Rankin out of the Squad, as much as we all wish to see JAC
