Changed Tactics?

Post by king sirro » Sun 10 Apr, 2016 7:07 pm

Havent seen so many sets of six with Teddy not touching the ball. Even played across him at times. Was this Taylor trying to mix things up or was it due to Tedescos injury?

I dont care how predictable we may become, simple fact is Tedesco must touch the ball in attacking situations

Makes sense using Teddy as decoy , pity Tedesco has some many sitting ducks around him that couldn't create something if their lives depended on it

I thought Lawrence looked dangerous with some of the inside lines he was running & can see that as a good alternate option on the left instead of playing it back to Teddy every time. Siro & Kev got some good early ball on the right & we looked dangerous a couple of times - just the last pass that let us down.

Wouldn't mind seeing Rankin at left centre & Addo-Carr on the wing until Simona gets back. Rankin still seems out of position a lot when we attack so maybe he'd be better trying to put his winger away as opposed to being on the end of a backline move. Also think Addo-Carr would be more elusive, especially with kick-returns.
