Moses looking forward to Bulldogs clash

Mon 9th May, 11:46AM

Wests Tigers playmaker Mitchell Moses says he's looking forward to another test against the Bulldogs this week — a team the young half says he loves playing against.

It was against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2014 that Moses burst on to the NRL scene in just his second first-grade appearance — setting up five tries and having a hand in another as Wests Tigers ran out comprehensive 46-18 winners at ANZ Stadium.

When the two sides last met in Round 8, 2015, Moses again found himself in the thick of things, setting up another two tries as Wests Tigers stormed away with a 38-14 victory.

And having overcome the groin strain that saw him as a late withdrawal from his side's last-start win over South Sydney, the 21-year-old Moses is looking forward to producing another strong performance against a Canterbury side he expects to come out firing.

"They're a quality side," Moses said of the Bulldogs. "They probably haven't been happy with some of their performances this year, but that's simliar for us too.

"It's always a good game against the Bulldogs — we really get up for that one.

"We'll be looking for a tough game. They've got a good pack so hopefully we can hold that. They've got the biggest pack in the NRL, so I think our forwards enjoy that test.

"If you can put it over their forwards, you're a real chance of beating the Dogs."

Young confident kid. Let's hope he has a blinder as admittedly the pressure is starting to mount for him also

You aren't allowed to keep the kids out of the media. They are first graders they have to and should be available to the media. Talk is fine doesen't make you play better or worse but does promote the club and the game and thats something we need to sell more merchandise and tickets so we can perhaps be a successful club

Yeah agree to a certain extent. If they would kill it on the field rather than talk about it and let us down would also sell merchandise and membership ect. Winning games makes a successful club not talk. :sign:

These Guys need media training...They are constantly being set up by reporters for anything negative to publish....listen to the questioning by the vultures....they just dig and dig...

How about:
 Not conceding points in the 5 min period before and straight after half time. :brick: :brick:
That will go along way to helping for a win.

I'm hoping he doesn't have a blinder.....now this might sound a tad silly. But I would rather he have an average game and do his 1%ers then try and have a match winning play every time he touches the ball. Game awareness you halves!! Game awareness!!
Well its nearly time to have a 'CRACK'....Go you :sign:

46-18 huh? Wins are so few and far between these days that I'd completely forgotten, and 38-14 last year.. How about that.. Let's hope it continues for this game.

I'm sick of hearing about "the kids", they're 21 years old, and been around the NRL squad for a few years now!

As another poster said just a game promoter piece of fluff. They do the rounds next home game it will be on Brooks than Teddy and back to Moses again. Its all about keeping the brand name out there in the market place
