Manly is copping it arm, Still building. I was down at the Surf club yesterday, the Surf would have been 4-6 foot and very messy, with bigger set coming through.
a digger from the council opened up the Queensie lagoon as it was ready to burst. Then some teenage kids shovels and boards came down tried to block it back up and create surg waves. The Police came to told them to clear off.

If any one is brave enough to go and watch this game live you have my ultimate respect.

I watched a bit of the Swans vs Suns game and it was like water polo.

This will be a game fought out in the forwards so Teddy and JAC won't get a chance to shine today.

Chee-Kam in for Simona will toughen up the defence in the centre.

If Farah is rested than I like our bench today.

Should be a close game with a field goal could decide this game.

Stay safe and dry as you can all WT brave supporters.

If this storm keeps up and Buckets/JT let me do the team selection/ coaching ....
I'd make the whole team wear the longest old screw in studs ever made. (I'm currently watching people walking on a 45 degree angle along the beach front).
Plus I'd select an All-Forwards team. Dropping Broses and playing ET/ Lawrence /Sirro in the halves (hopefully one of them can kick). The only two backs I'd have are our best bomb catchers Teddy and Ado...maybe Rankin.
So if the wind is over 100 kms and torrential rain... then my backline would be
1. Teddy 2. Rankin, 3. MCK, 4. Lawrence ,5. Carr, 6. Sirro (maybe his last WT game), 7. ET. Then the biggest , heaviest forwards that can hold a wet ball we can find. :D
If the storm subsides down 40 knot winds , I might one of the halves play.

I reckon the weather suits the roosters. I think we have some skill in our team but today is going to be tough.

I reckon the fact we have a lot of our regular side together will help , our combinations might be a bit slicker

Bigger concern is our kicking game and our back 3 , the teams that defuses more bombs today and middle third holds together wins in my opinion

Yeah mate, I work mainly wollstonecraft but do shifts anywhere between north Sydney and Hornsby. I must admit I enjoy the job when it hits the fan. Good chance of chaos today on the leafy north shore.

Its going to be one of those games where luck is going to play a big role. The gale force winds and rain have stopped in the last hour in Port Macquarie. Looking at the radar looks like most of the heavy stuff is around Newcastle now. Hopefully by kickoff most of the heavy rain and winds have passed.

I won't be surprised if they cancel the NYC game today as it will probably chop the field up too much.

Wet weather football. Both sides will be going for Five hit ups and a bomb. At least we know what the game plan will be. Hopefully we can keep our composure better than the chooks.
