5 unforgivable things

Post by king sirro » Sun 05 Jun, 2016 5:49 pm

1. Addo Carr AGAIN not getting low bringing the ball back from our line. You can forgive him for doing it once in a previous game but to do it again is a joke. Wake up Josh.

2. Brooks poor positioning for a kick with Elijah Taylor regathering and trying to throw a crazy pass when we had 6 to go. Unforgivable.

Thats 12 points to the roosters as a direct result of simple poor play.

3. Woods being made to look like a chump by Hargraves every single time they play each other.

4. Halatau deliberately stripping the ball in front of the posts. This guy has had it. He cant play NRL again.

5. Naqiama coming up with the worst read in fefence of all time at the 72nd minute.

Make no mistake, this was a pathetic performance against a poor team.

There was 6 points in it when Halatau pulled that ball out. Why? That settled the game right there.

Nofoaluma dropping the ball over the line but the big difference today was our forwards got out played by Roosters.

Their halves were kicking from 5m out into in goal ours were getting the ball 40 meters out - we forced a few errors with bombs but repeat sets the difference over the game and they happened because forwards put the Roosters in a better position then ours

Yeah their pigs smashed us.

We have no big hitters and they have a few.

On a dry track i reckon we give them a run for their money.

Nofaluma has hands like dolphins flippers.

Yep, we got smashed up front.
Also thought we were just out-enthused, which is pretty inexcusable tbh, given we have such a young team.

3 wins in 4 games, should be full of confidence, Teddy back... Putting in a performance like that is embarrassing. Copping 5 tries and 32 points against in the wet is just not good enough, let alone against a team missing half of their spine.

Will give him the benefit of the doubt because it was a wet sloppy game but -

Moses attempting tackles but sliding right off / out of them - no impact and force, very weak.

Not to forget Moses pathetic defence on the first try.

No repeat sets, all we had to do was copy the roosters for first 30m and we win that game, instead we try to score off every set. Dumb stuff from dumb players time and time again.

Conditions were always going to suit the Chooks more than us. To big to strong

Not excusing the decision Mitch made there, but the Roosters should not have had the ball. Penalty for a high tackle that wasn't high

Careful you are talking about the champ whom Gallagher queried whether I had ever heard of him - and of course it is 6 month since Ballin's operation so all is sweet with him playing!!! (btw was it is Ballin's knee giving trouble?)
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)
