Rankin was ordinaty. Does not have the speed to be effective and hands not quick enough when playing the link man.

Agree. Rankin tries, but Teddy is all class and would have probably gotten us over the line on tonight's team effort.

If Nofo doesnt spill his loolies when trying to catch the high ball
Then Brookes fumbles over in-goal
way too many rookie errors in 2nd half..

Apparently 8 errors in that second half. Did not play nearly as well.

Even though we lost, I was very proud of the effort. As a whole, the team is going much better. Scramble defence and line speed has definitely improved.

Top 8 is very possible IMO.

Lawrence should be at the glue factory ... Couldn't care less if people think he's a club great , he offers nothing .
Step away from the computer and take a breath. I'll grant you Rankin, but Lawrence? Turn it up.

Rankin is bog ordinary, why keep picking him, he bombed a sitter of a try, missed 2 tackles that led to trys, and threw the shocker pass to give the dogs a try late on.
But we leaked 32 points again, our defence is the second worse in the NRL.
Go hard or go home

difference between our defence and newcastles is our players just want to have some fun with mates, newcastle dont know their teammates

They won a lot of respect first half considering no one gave them a chance to win
And then they come out 2nd half and prove all the doubters right

I disagree,i fail to see any positives finishing the way we did..

There is an obvious reason why the youngest ever to play NRL still hasnt got 100 games in NRL up yet

He was terrible tonight....two bad drops in our 30 and a woeful tackle on our line.

Drops balls every game.

Needs to be much better than that!

That performance said a lot. I really am starting to believe we could 5 games after our bye. We'll take care of the Dragons after the bye and should beat Parra. That would be a great springboard for the last month.

Rankin was terrible and Lawrence wasnt far behind.I thought we played ok for most of the match.Nofo does a lot of the dirty yards when we need it,every team needs a player like him he never shirks his job

We were good. We have a good squad. Canterbury have a really good squad. I think we can match them if we had Tedesco out there.

Brooks second half was horrendous

Poor options ,poor passes , poor kicking game and playing at that grubber

Gutsy effort by the team as a whole , could have so easily been a win

One out play by us for the last 20 minute was poor!!
They just pinned us down and condensed us in defence, we needed to go wider and challenge them. We didn't and that's we're we lost it...
