Our Pack...

Unread post by Geo. » Sun 07 Aug, 2016 9:29 pm

Just want to acknowledge our whole Pack today...We lost Taylor early.

Woods Halatau Sue Grant Seumanufagai Lawrence Aloiai Lovett and Edwards...stood tall...they were up against a virtual representative Pack in Scott Glanville Tamou Taulmalolo Cooper Lowe Asiata Hannet and Bolten and didn't take a backward step...They laid a platform for the backs to do their thing...

Gone are the days of Us being SOFT....

Did it one short too. Hopefully ET is right.

Edwards deserves a shout out too. He's been as hard as nails in the middle.

Winning starts up front.

They are ripping in. All of them.

They bashed NQ today.

They seem to be responding to Woods captaincy. Its good.

Pack was great today, they hit hard and often, but Sue's last stint when he came back from the bench was unbelievable, we were shot and going nowhere, and this human wrecking ball turned the game around. All the forwards need a big rap

I hope that was not our GF for the year. Amazing effort and commitment. Moses actually tackled was brilliant as were many others of course In defence. We were ruddy lucky by rushing them early and actually catching them, I don't think there was a sliding defence back up. Thurston amended his thug image a bit today by softly landing Moses down. The Coach can be proud and during the interview even conceded that the Cowboys were off their best game - maybe they were just not allowed to play it. What a shocker ref decision that penalty for supposedly interfering with the play the ball and they almost scored off it. What an injustice that would have been. I wonder if the Cowboys player could have owned up to his mistake like some cricketers do when the umpires get it wrong.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Too right we bashed them. How great was it to see Halatua cream Thurston legally. Top stuff from all of them

Grant and Ava off the bench killing it. Both over 130m in attack. Special mention to Grant, thought he was great today playing some huge minutes.

Physically outplayed the Cows today, and it was great to see. Aside from one run by Taumalolo in the second half, the Cows forwards never looked like getting on top.
