Noffa to Fullback

Unread post by GNR4LIFE » Sun 14 Aug, 2016 11:20 pm

Won't happen, but this is what i would do. He's in career best form atm, and will be one of our biggest attacking weapons against the Panthers. He needs the ball as often as possible. He has the tools. Hunt could come up and take his spot on the wing.

That is a great idea imo. Following Teddy's injury my first thought was all good we have Noffa.

I agree he is playing excellent but no way would i move him to fullback his hands are a little dicey. If i was picking player of the year it would be nofo, but putting him to fullback i think is taking away his main attribute which is doing the dirty hard yards for the pigs in which he excels.Rankin to me is the choice even though he is not great

Farah to fullback.
Extremely frustrated fan. Try not to let my negativity get to you.

with the style of football we play you need a no1 one that can ball play and Rankin has that ability

Noffo is a good choice. I don't think Rankin is the right choice as I'm not sure if he offers enough. Then again he has played pretty well at hooker.

No, we need a ball player. It will be Rankin or Hunt ir both. Leave Nofo where he is in great form.

I remember he played fullback for 10 mins against south side in 2014 when teddy went off and Reynolds kicked two 40/20s. Won't happen.

By the training pics today I think Hunt will be in the 1

It would be a nervous old day wouldn't it. I say keep him where he's playing the best.

Rankin at fullback. He has filled in pretty well there this season.
Whoever replaces Teddy it will be like trading a Lambourghini in for a Leyland P76 (at least there is room for a 44 gallon drum in the boot I suppose).
Geez it would be nice for the fickle finger of fate to shine on our side for once. Go Tiges

So why does everyone keep telling us we cant pick JAC because he isnt in our top 25 and weve gone over our second tier cap.

Nofa is awful under the high ball and we haven't seen much from him in terms of ball skills. I'd rather Naiqama or Simona at the back, although I think it will be Rankin.

You can get dispensation if you have injuries. We can't play a top 25 winger in reggies and have a winger outside the top 25 play first grade if we are over the cap. However if we don't have the players available to play the required positions then we might be given permission to bring a player outside the top 25 into the team.
