We are very much alive right now

Unread post by MacDougall » Sat 27 Aug, 2016 9:57 pm

I hope they realise this.

The Raiders are likely to be without both starting halves next week and if the Sharks win against Melbourne they will have nothing to play for.

The Warriors are coming off a flogging at the hands of a team we beat.

The season is not dusted.

One more opportunity to prove your mettle lads. Put last week behind you.

I forgot to add the Titans have a trip to Townsville obviously. And the Cowboys have a top four spot on the line.

Yes considering that 2 of them are dead! I'd say we're more likely just hanging on by a short pube.

We really don't have a great record of winning games we have to, but here is hoping.

I know. We all said how important the titans and panthers game were. Win one of those and we would have had our destiny in our hands. But somehow we are still alive. Really hope its an improvement from last week.

If we win against the Warriors we would have better odds of beating Canberra at LO than the Titans will of beating the Cowboys in NQLD. If we snuck into the finals and played the Dogs at ANZ with teddy I would be confident. I have a suspicion we will be on the end of a hiding tomorrow but you never know.

Broncos will finish 5th, so we'd more than likely go straight out the back door. But hey, even that looks very appealing atm.

Was i the only one who was kind of hoping the titans won so we didn't have to go through the pain of dropping our bundle again?

Oh well, looks like the family will have to put up with me swearing at the tv for at least 1 more game!

I just want us to win more games. It'd be good to finish the season on a high.

This is it.
We really have to give it everything today... The draw has been kind in that We get a final home game at LO.
I can cop losses if they look to have given 110%....but when I see smiling and laughter in scrums from our (c) when we've had 40 put on us.... It really ticks me off

We HAVE to get up for this game. We're still a small chance of making it, and if we beat the Warriors, next week we'll have the Raiders (likely) without their halves.

Even if we lose terribly in the first game of finals, actually playing finals football will make the entire season worth it.

Of course, it all relies on the Cowboys beating the Titans next week too...

This post explains the highs and lows of being a tigers supporter.....all within the 80 mins of the game that is, let alone a whole season.
But yes we are holding the faintest of faiant faint hopes on this one.
Well its nearly time to have a 'CRACK'....Go you :sign:

The joy i'd get out of making the 8 would be twofold. Not only from us making the 8, but because the Titans would be knocked out. For the majority of the year i had so much respect for the Titans. Amazing what one player with an ego big enough for its own postcode, plus sickening media overexposure can do.
