So excited to get a good look at Suli.
Young, big and strong, not sure about how quick he is though.
Not expecting great things, but if he holds his own there is no reason he won't keep the position all season and repeat Aloia's debut season.

Congrats to McIlwrick, he'd want to play out of his skin being one of his last chances at NRL level.

Jamal, well his proven himself before, but he has to do it again.

Great performance by all three, but massive props to McIlwrick who does exactly what we need, and some excellent hits in D.

McIlrick hit like a truck tonight. His service looked accurate and he gets the ball away from the ruck as quick as anyone. Very impressed.

He was excellent. He was a class above all other hookers on the field tonight. Only Cook came close.

Idris should spend a few weeks in NSW Cup, We can't carry him until he is match fit.

He looked sluggish in attack but a few time Souths attacked his side and looked dangerous but he shut it down. If he does that then im happy and he starts every week.

Suli is just 18.
He is allowed to make some boo boos.
The guy is great. Offload Brooks and give his cash to Suli.

Needs to improve his handling big time! Has hands like feet at the moment!

Absolutely, credit where it's due McIIwrick was great.
Suli - hmmm? good enough when held the ball and overall not a bad debut.
Idris - Well I think he needs at least 2 weeks in reserve grade until he gets his mojo back.

Id have Mcwillrick start and id bring liddle on who will have a massive impact once the big boys are tired. There is no way Ballin can take over after that performance.

Brooks was awesome tonight.

Definitely complicates the picture if we need to choose someone to let go.

Suli's on a good wicket for the next three years anyway!

happy days

Great debut by Suli, you can tell he is going to be a very good footballer. Made some great decisions with ball in hand when other youngsters would have just gone for the corner.

No wonder other clubs were chasing him big time. By the second or third year of his deal he is going to look cheap. Great talent and I can see why the club gave him the contract they did.

McIllwrick - Was really impressive was quick with his service, hit hard in defence and got the forwards going and I've no problem if he keeps the spot for a couple of weeks while the other 2 get fit at least

Suli - A star was born tonight. The 2 try assists were brilliant and we better be looking for a new left winger for next year becuase he is going to be right centre next season i'd say because as good as he was on the wing he is a better centre. The football smarts for an 18 yr old when he came back inside was brilliant. He dropped a couple of balls but he is 18 first game and it was pissing down rain all match.

Idris - Yes he dropped the 1st ball he touched in 2 years in NRL but he was very good for a 1st hit out. 4 things really impressed me. 1. His lateral defence was really really good. 2. He wanted the ball and ran hard when he got it. 3. When Moses scored by a long way he chased all the way to be their in support just in case when no one else was (on TV you prob wouldn't have seen this) and 4.When we were scrambling in defence he came charging back before many to be their those last 2 show committment and i'm not sure the old Idris would have done that. He will take a few weeks to build up to his best but we have a good one and anyone who thinks he should play NSW cup for a few weeks in crazy
