nah no try, wasn't too far off though

34-18, in the wet, first game, pretty good overall, patching in parts but I reckon if it wasn't raining, we would have racked up some more.

Very good win first up, last 20 was a bit sloppy but both teams teams are still working on match fitness.

Why Tedesco was in the scrum with a souths feed on our line?....dead set mind boggling
It's called Rugby League 2017......over complicate things just for the sake of it.

One on one situations you want your most elusive players there, not their head buried in a scrum.
Suli at fault for mine, has to stay a few steps behind.
I really dont think the winger could stop that play mate.

Pretty good effort tho to be fair against 12 men really for about an hour.... There will be much tougher opponents come the next few weeks but can only go one at a time
Defense still a big question mark for me

Suli was great on debut, defence is an improvement! Idris still needs more matches but will come good. Happy with brooks defence as well, passing game should improve.

Well done to JT and the team!

Not when he is in line with the kicker, but he is normally a center so gets half excused. He made plenty of errors, but gets a pass mark overall.

Yeah defence still a worry but attack looking good.
Some awesome ballmovement and running in the wet.
Very happy with that as a first hitout.

I thought Idris's defence was good

That was more important to me than anything

Last 20 minutes weren't great , but we got the two points

Far bigger test next week

A few questions answered tonight. Suli looks good, hooker may well be a strength for us despite all expectations. Teddy huge. Noffa and Moses weren't flunking it last year. Back row is better than expected,

The big one for me, and the thing that has hamstrung us in the past, the forwards ran hard all night. We have done this in the past for certain games, and failed to be consistent. If we win round 3 off the back of a positive attitude I'll back us for the 8. For now, so far so good.
