inglis is one of the biggest grubs in the game. I have zero sympathy for him.
Any complications in his recovery and he may not come back at all.
On the bus or under it!

I couldn't possibly care less. Souths for the spoon.
X 2
No one likes to see players get injured but sowfs for the spoon would be just fine
Coach maguire iz another massively over rated coach
How do you leave your bezt on the field when GI is so obviously significantly injured
Sowfs eserve maguirs ... a goose and tosser
I dislike sowfs immensely

For all the stuff I copped from Souffs supporters from 2012-2016 good riddance. Unlucky to have an injury like that to a good player but couldn't happen to a better team

I hate them with a passion and giving them a thumping last night made me very happy.

Was only on one leg and still managed to score a try. Hideous player management by Souths.
And she's turning cold, at fifteen years old,
Taken too much slow, minds gone out to sea on the P&O,
Don't know what to do, rotten shade of blue,
Another case of "stupid is as stupid does..."

Souths and QLD will really miss him as will the Roos during the WC. Lots of stakeholders affected by one injury.
Qld and Australia will miss him big time

Couldn't care about Souths one iota

Not sure what Maguire was on last night, but whoever gave it to him, thanks
Craziest decision I've seen in a lot of years. Plain stupidity.

It was a shocking decision keeping him on, but he would have done all the damage in the initial impact on his knee. A large amount of ACL's are done from planting the foot and the knee buckling. Still though, the way he literally walked over the line to score his try should have been enough to show he was a dead horse. Should not have come back out after half time. Least it's not us though.

Teddy's route to the Australian #1 jersey just got a bit easier.
Can't see that, he's on a downwood slide, and can be replaced by better players, I would have rather seen him in their team.

Souffs in all their true class have indirectly tried to blame Inglis for staying on - saying they gave him the option to make the call and he thought it was getting better - Which is completely contrary to the gestures Inglis was making right before halftime. He wanted to come off, knew he was done.

There will be more to this I think.

I am confused re the injury. ACL usually means reconstruction which is longer than 6 months recover. He was gone last night, there was an interesting point I hear on the commentary. They said that the 1st trainer that checked him vigorously shook his head suggesting he was no good. Got left out basically the entire game.

But that is the usual ACL scenario and the Drs should know that

You do your ACL and after about 20 minutes it feels like it is getting better , until you try and do something that doesn't have you running straight and whooska your face first in even more pain ......

Even if he couldn't do more damage to his ACL, I'm pretty sure the other parts of his knee are at a higher risk of being damaged (I'm no doctor though)...

Very stupid, arrogant decision from Maguire. My tip is for Souths to sack him and sign Des Hasler for next 2018.
Year of last finals appearance:
2017 - Storm, Roosters, Broncos, Eels, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Panthers, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2015 - Rabbitohs, Dragons
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers, Warriors

It was the worst thing i have seen in terms of player welfare ever at a gsme. He was practically on 1 leg, had nothing and Macguire left him on , wow.

Complete lack of care shown by a very grubby club.I dont have any time for inglis but what that disgrace of a club did to him shows they have no interest in player welfare.

I hate to see any champion athlete get a major injury doing what they love in any sport..doesn't matter if you like or dislike Inglis,I feel for him and wish him a speedy recovery...

With Inglis left out there to hobble around by the coach. With Madge (and/Russel )not getting along with Luke Keary . Souths are starting to look like a rabble.
Luke Keary had a blinder for Easts and the Rabbits might have Farah at 7. With no Inglis. Tough start of the season for them.

Everyone talks about "the damage is already done" to that knee so no big deal.

What a lot of BS. For mine, it was the higher risk of injury to the OTHER knee that was of most concern. Doctors always talk of the other parts that have to do 'overs' to compensate for any injury.

Doctors call, trainers call?
Maguire is the coach and if he was willing for GI to suffer more pain - then shame on him.

Any decent human being would have brought him straight off.

Madge said in the presser that his knee began feeling better.
