Cartwright is ordinary, the amount of mistakes he makes, turns over possession trying to push offloads, poor ball security, lazy defender.
I watched him closely last season and he puts Penrith under so much pressure and also lets the pressure off with his mistakes. Lost count of the amount of times I said out loud "that was Cartwright again" while watching Penrith games.
Did you watch the Dragons game ...Cartwright was defending inside Martin... Thompson ran 3 TRIES straight thu them,,Widdop 1,,the Dragons targeted them and it paid dividends for them...happy tiger wrote: ↑Sun 05 Mar, 2017 1:07 pmHe's terrible defending in the 6 position , he is far better when he can't get targeted in such a vulnerable position
The main thing with the Panthers this week is,they either improve dramatically as we know they can or they could remain in tatters as they have a lot of work to do in overcoming the beating they got from Saints...
You may see me struggle...but you will never see me quit...
Have to be wary of the Panthers this week due to the bounce back affect as they were given a right royal thrashing by Saints. The Panthers will be out to make up for that dreadful display last week so the Tigers can not be complacent and rely on them playing that badly again at Campbelltown.
I'd be targeting them up the middle by either running at Martin and Cartwright or get the second phase ball away to Teddy, Moses and Brooks. Kev might be a worry against Peachey but what do you guys think of MCK playing instead of Kev? Hearing it's likely Idris will be starting this week rather coming off the bench
I'd be doing exactly this too, I've got a feeling were going to try and play fancy though.mightymagpie wrote: ↑Mon 06 Mar, 2017 4:52 pmI'd be targeting them up the middle by either running at Martin and Cartwright or get the second phase ball away to Teddy, Moses and Brooks. We need to play direct and through the middle with short passes and plenty of support around the ball.
Hopefully Taylor does his homework.
Hopefully the pigs dent the line and can get the ball free, will help having Moses, Taylor and Brooks all passing at the line too.
I swing like hell but know full well that I won't win the fight, but big man I'm the beta male that's gonna ruin your night...
Fuerza en la adversidad.
Fuerza en la adversidad.
Every club thinks the tigers have a soft underbelly and if they go hard at us we will roll over. We need to kick it into the corners and smash blokes like whare who used to run at us with immunity from a big hit. They would be losing a lot from not having mansour starting their sets.
