The ISC side got pumped today. Anyone suggesting that Idris should be in the run on side is living in fantasy land.

The side should be
1. Teddy
2. Nofa
3. MCK
4. Suli
5. Rankin/Hunt/Heleta
6. Moses
7. Brooks
8. Woods
9. McIllwrick (if there is no-one else available, today was a big step back)
10. Grant (where was he today?)
11. Lawrence (not for 80 mins)
12. Taylor (better than our other edge defenders and did not dominate the middle today)
13. Sue (Not an edge player)

14. Ava
15. Aloiai
16. Any middle forward that is showing ability in lower grades (Felise, Tatola, Paseka etc.)
17. Gun 20yo backrower that we have invested our cap in such as Masters (on bench for reserve grade today), Sironen etc.

My Team;

1. James Tedesco
2. David Nofoluma
3. Jamal Idris
4. Michael Chee Kam
5. Moses Suli
6. Littlejohn
7. Mitchell Moses
8. Ava Seumanufgai
9. Matt Mcilwrick
10. Aaron Woods
11. Jesse Sue
12. Chris Lawrence
13. Elijah Taylor

14. Matt Balin
15. Josh Aloiai
16. Tim Grant
17. JJ Felise

Time to let Moses run the side. I think he is the best option for halfback and because I can't see another option at 6 I would play littlejohn at five eight
Hate to mention this but according to JT , Moses has been running the team from the early part of last season.

I saw Kev playing DH quite a bit today, any thoughts on having Kev as a possible bench utility next week instead of JLJ?

I also think we should blood a new centre, maybe Tali, Leumuelu or Papenhuyzen.

I still thin we need to sign 1 more quality outside back.
Papenhuyzen is 76kg dripping wet and you want to blood him against the biggest side in the comp :crazy
Toni Tali is 96kg and 186cm
Cinnelly Leumuelu is 95kg and 190cm

I wouldn't mind either of them playing in our backline against Canberaa
Both are too raw and won't be able to man up in FG for 80 minutes.

How many chances does Kev and Brooks need?

We need to run with a big bench or Canberra will win by more

Brooks rushed up in defence but Lawrence had every right to make the tackle on his opposing forward on the inside. The fact is even though Brooks' had a misread, good teams cover in defence.

Did anyone catch the ISP yesterday ? Noticed the late changes had Paseka in the secondrow - I'm wondering how he went ??

3 Tries bombed, with the tryline open and one of their tries involved a player who was about 5 metres offside, means despite the awful game we played, we really go down 30-20 to Penriff.

I'm not death riding quite yet, and don't think DRASTIC changes need to happen - yet. I just think some positional tweaks are needed to minimise the defensive issues.

1. Tedesco
2. Nofoluma
3. Idris - Needs to stand up and be an 80 minute player - he's a centre for christ sake!
4. Suli - Slight defensive tweak bring him one in - is a lot more solid in defence compared to Naiqama
5. Naiqama - Chuck him on the wing - Suli has shown himself to have a good offload, and his size should be able to get 2- players interested and create issues.
6. Moses
7. Brooks - play him second fiddle, Give him carte blanche to take the line on, and give primary kicking duties to Moses.
13.Taylor
12. Sue
11. Lawrence
10. Woods
9. McIlwrick or Ballin/Liddle if fit - and 80 minutes.
8. Seumanfagai

14. Tim Grant -
15. Aloiai - however needs more minutes than vs Penriff
16. JJ Felise
17. MCK

Idris and our hooker need to stand up for 80 minutes to give our forwards a chance against the monster Raiders Pack - who will also have big Dave Taylor coming off suspension, and Ricky would be odds on to put him into a team against us.

It's now time for our bounce back factor to kick in.

Chee Kam definitely needs to go back to the bench. If the bench doesn't contain at least three forwards he needs to be dropped to reserve grade. He was one of the first to run out of puff yesterday.

Agree. He was quite good early but when he stopped, he stopped dead.

4. Jamal Idris/Michael Chee-Kam (subject to fitness)
5. Moses Suli
6. Mitchell Moses
7. Luke Brooks
8. Aaron Woods
9. Mcillwrick/Ballin/Littlejohn whoever can last the game.
10. Ava Seumanufagai
11. Sauaso Sue
12. Chris Lawrence.
13. Elijah Taylor

14. Tim Grant.
15. JJ Felise
16. Josh Aloiai
17. Wes Lolo/ Chee-Kam if Idris plays.

No interchanging hookers or outside backs. Props and backrowers get rotated, everyone else is expected to go the distance or they don't get on the bus.
