Nofo wasn't the problem Willow.willow wrote: ↑Sun 02 Apr, 2017 7:07 pmWorst on field was a hard one...Nofo got caught out all day in defence but then was the only bloke to really trouble Saints defensively and made a ton of metres...
Moses was terrible but Littlejohn probably takes the cake today. Defensively shocking and offered nothing with the ball.
Kev on 3 of the tried was standing within 5-10mtrs of the goal posts leaving Nofo marking 4 players over 40mtrs to himself.
Kev was terrible today yet again he either compresses, starts from the side or rushes. He has no defensive capability to sturcture at all.
Cleary needs to make his role #1 priority to resolve or replace.
-3 Kev
-2 Teddy just a selfish player atm
-1 Moses hardly seen at all considering we had over 50 tackles in our opposition 20....
Idris's defence was great to-day.

I was impressed with his defence, no one got past him. If he can stay on the park for the rest of the season I'd strongly consider moving back to the backrow for next season. Gives us more size and we can focus on buying a couple of specialist centres.

Big Jamal defended well, if only he was quicker in attack and could break the line

with my limited knowledge Idris was only wasted when recommencing play after a penalty - he should have been running onto the passed ball rather than taking the tap and passing. We were closish to try line. Don't know if that does not fit in with structure or his position.goldcoast tiger wrote: ↑Sun 02 Apr, 2017 7:54 pm-3. Moses
-2 Idris a waste of a jumper

And special non award to Nofa terrible in defence, but saving a little bit in attack
Just missed out on a negative 2
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

His defence is ok if someone runs straight at him. He didn't didn't have to do too much as they ran most of their attack at our famous right sideTigertigertiger wrote: ↑Tue 04 Apr, 2017 9:31 amBig Jamal defended well, if only he was quicker in attack and could break the line
Wait till they start backs at him, anyone with a step will tie him in knots. Even when he was fit and playing better, backs would step him with ease. He's hopeless if he has to move laterally
