omewhat surprisingly, the Tigers have made the fourth most metres of any NRL team across the first five rounds with an average of 1462 per game. They’re also second for tackle busts with 31.2 per game.

Those numbers would generally lead to plenty of points but save for their round one smash up of the Rabbitohs, the Tigers’ best effort is 14.

Why? They’re bereft of ideas and penetration in attack.

Their conversion rate once they get into their opponents’ 20 metre zone is deplorable.

They’ve been tackled a whopping 191 times in the red zone across five games and have managed just five tries from those plays. That’s one try from inside their opponents’ 20 for every 31.8 tackles in that zone.

JT coached it out of them. Defense wins games.... lmao. Scoring more points than the opposition is what wins games.

id say tedesco and moses are playing somewhat injured. Moses from all start and tedesco look unfit
For Moses that is quite possible true. Tedesco just hasn't been given the ball at the right times. Tedesco has become the go to man, much like Benji was towards the end, expected to pull something out of the hat on every play but instead it becomes predictable.

If you keep the opposition to two tries, its easier to score three to win...comprende?

GEO,I cant help thinking that our players get into a position in the oppositions zone and then all of a sudden are unsure of what to do next....surely at this level and the amount of practise they do,then it should come as a second nature how to finish off the play....is it immaturity or not having the confidence in the players around you that is making them make errors of judgement and not completing..?? or as Gould said in the commentary ""the Tigers are more dangerous from 60 out than 20 out""
You may see me struggle...but you will never see me quit... :D

Defence isn't important , if we score 68 every week we'll be fine until we play the Raiders in the GF

Steve was right , we need him back more than ever

Why doesn't Moses run at the line more?
Fair go. Moses topped the runs and was accused of being a "hog" 2 games ago.

How obsessed was Moses and halves going tonight side. Unsure whether it's because idris not pushing up in attack or their just hopeless . Vision of Moses throwing a pass onto a idris on the burst appears it's just not going to happen. Needs fixing fast.

Yeah it's a head scratcher, the pigs appear to be doing alright making metres, but then when it's up to the playmakers to build on those metres, they have no idea.
