Should Woods Be Stripped Of The Captaincy?

100% in my opinion, what is there to look upto for younger players if he is barking instructions and he doesn't want to be there.

Yup - I have no hesitation. The captain should always be a good clubman. And if I was running the place I would be dumping him right out of the squad. 2017 is gone, lets experiment and see what we can turn up to make the squad stronger in 2018

100%. Can't think one reason why he should keep it. I would prefer him to leave asap. Have no respect for him anymore

I know Matt McLlwrick hasn't been at our club long, but he speaks and presents as a very capable person, what would your thoughts of him being captain ?

Yeah, I would give it to him or Chris Lawrence

that would be the mature thing to do - he can relinquish it instead of being pushed.

Yep totally the right thing to do and I expect him to do it. Even if Ivan has to have a quiet word with him to make it happen - but I'd expect that even a Gen Y captain would hand it in.

Yes 100% , Strip him of the role he should never of had to begin with. He barely captains the team as it is now, you always see the other boys doing the talking. Any of the other guys would do a better job then Woods.

I trust Cleary to make the right call

If he is no longer captain, does our new captain get to go NRL 360? Don't really want to see Woods representing our club anymore.

This is Woods were talking about, please use simple words - he may not know what relinquish means. :)

He should relinquish it, as it's the right thing to do. Elijah Taylor or Chris Lawrence for new club captain.

It looks unanimous so far. I would be gobsmacked if Cleary didn't make him give up the captaincy.

Me too. But only if that call is to take the captaincy off him.

It is a test of Woods to see what he does do in terms of the captaincy. Lawrence deserves consideration, which I would support, for his long service and loyalty to the club plus he speaks reasonably well when interviewed.

....don't know what they're waiting for. This guy dogged it now he can join his mate at the dogs.

Captaincy should have been taken from him by now.
