I think we should score more tries.
Maybe make sure the opposition score less tries.
Or both
Or maybe hire a decent referee
You're correct. Maybe if we had better refs we would be in the top 4??

Knights leading manly 8-6 after 46 minutes, we could be last after this round

Get up and in the face of Pearce & Friend. Let them taste the surface of the field quite often.
Don't give them any room to move.
This will help to slow them down.

Knights most unlucky that ref let a dropped ball try allowed
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

TBH whatever the game plan may be, I don't think we are a chance of winning. As I said in another post, it's all between the ears from here on in. I wanna see us play for each other when inevitably we'll be down 12-0 in 20 minutes.

The coach needs to set some goals which we can achieve regardless of the results. E.g. completion rate, missed tackle rate, post contact metres etc.
My Round 1 Team 2018

1. lolo 2. noffa 3. suli 4. milne 5. fonua
6. reynolds 7. brooks
8. packer 9. ET 10. Twal
11. McQuen 12. Lawrence 13. Eiso
14. Matulino 15. McIllwrick 16. Sue 17. Aloiai
18. Marsters 19. Benji 20. Grant 21. K Naiqama
Next: Liddle, MCK, Felise, MWZ, Thompson, Rochow, Gamble

Yep, good one - don't think Cleary would have thought of that.

The bottom placed teams have no hope with this sort of crap going on every week. How demoralising for the Knights knowing that they would've won this game, but for this blatant blunder, but nothing is done to rectify it and they have to go home without the biscuits, yet again! The unfairness of NRL makes my blood boil sometimes.

They wouldn't necessarily have won. It's not really any worse than when tries get scored off blatant forward passes that the bunker can't rule on.

I suppose, but in this case the linesman, who had the best view asked the ref to check to check upstairs, but the video ref comes back with a try verdict without even looking! That's ridiculous! You have to admit, it is primarily the teams near the bottom of the ladder that get the most dodgy ref calls against them each week.
