Yeah Brooks gets a good pass mark from me for his defence but a big fail for his attack. Especially his kicking game. Some of his kicks should be counted as errors.

Only 1 forward over 100 metres. Lovett 20 metres in 62 minutes. Gee
Sue is a forward Southern, still not good enough though.
Yeh for some reason I missed him. Still not pretty reading at all.

Brooks needs to practice threading that ball through opposition legs though... he is probably running at 10% success at this stage. On the bright side his defence was really good with Hurrell and Proctor running at him all night.
I don't think he should be trying to thread legs when he can't even get it between the yawning gaps between players. He should just play high % football. Use his pace to get on the outside of his opposite and then slide his kicks through on the angle.

Liddle tackled tough but his distribution wasn't great, lots of passes above or behind the halves.

Yeh I noticed that too. He has that in him. Its an area of his game he needs to work on.

Since finals look out of reach, coach may as well give less experienced but promising players like Liddle, Aloiai, Eisenhuth, Felise, Marsters and even Twal every opportunity in first grade.
Barring injury depletion, there is no need to waste a spot on non performers like Lovett, Edwards and MCK anymore. Even Lawrence should go to ISP, he's a plodder.
